Now we know where Sun is from, which is Cinnebar Island. Moon’s origin must be really important for the manga to still not reveal her hometown.

Cinnabar? Wonder if there's some significance to that specific location. I mean, it's more original than Pallet Town.

I haven't played Let's Go, so I don't know if that game has any Cinnabar-related stuff that would be worth referencing outside of what's been established in previous Kanto-based games. And I don't think either version of SM actually states what town the player came from.

Also, that volcano still hasn't erupted yet, huh?

Might have to do with the Rainbow Rocket storyline. You got the Mewtwo lore behind Cinnabar island of course which might later serve as an explanation to how Giovanni got Mewtwo in an alternate timeline and then there's the Sevii Isles nearby which serves as an access point between Johto, Kanto, Hoenn and the Orre region in the games, the Pokemon Communication center serving as the predecessor, lore-wise, to 4th gen's Wi-Fi Center. There's also Blaine of course. What I'm saying is that there's a lot of things behind Cinnabar Island that Kusaka could use.

Hello, here's a short summary of events that happen:

Sun and Moon arrive at Ultra Megalopolis and meet Soliera and Stakataka, which encases Sun.
Zossie teaches Soliera about the Alolan greeting, which is honestly quite cute.
Soliera wants to know the bond/connection that can happen with a human and an Ultra Beast.
Moon enters battle with Dartrix, making it a showdown between Lunala, Stakataka, and Moon/Dartrix.
Soliera and Zossie talk about their excitement, with this being the former's first time in seeing an actual Pokemon, let alone a Pokemon battle.
Moon shoots Sun, or so it seems, but actually pierces the Zygarde cube, causing a lot of 1% Zygardes to emerge.
Lusamine gets the Beast Ball completed by someone who should really stay in his arc until it finishes and wants to capture Necrozma as the last being needed for her Paradise because it is so revered by the inhabitants of Ultra Megalopolis.

Speaking of Dartrix, as of now, Sun is the one who has a Z-Ring. However, do you think Moon, and Hau would also eventually get one, to showcase the Z-moves exclusive to their starters?

Would be pretty awesome to see "Triple Finish" from Smash Bros. take some kind of form in the Pokemon canons.

...Except we have. Twice. Once in RGB with the final triple attack against Zapmolcuno and again in Emerald with the triple Ultimate Moves. That's about as close to a Smash reference as we're going to get here, even if the first is a retroactive example.

We can clearly see Sun with a Z-Power Ring and Solganium Z as before, but Moon's left arm (the one you wear the Z-Ring on) is completely obscured. It could indicate she might get one, or it could just be nothing.

Wow, I didn’t think of that, it sure can definitely happen. Another thing, is that apparently Moon was aiming for Sun’s Zyagarde cube, was she thinking of unleashing Zygarde 10%? Or did she expect it would change into a more powerful form? Where it is unlikely Zygarde 100% would appear this early.

Really not relevant, but I asked Yamamoto sensei about Sun's height since in some panels, he appears to be taller than Moon now.
Plus those CoroCoro renders made it out that Sun was taller than Moon.
He responded laughing hehe and that Sun is still shorter than Moon and even provided a different illustration.

Even if I know because they have work overload, I'm still impressed Kusaka didn't creat a new, original character called "Ultra" for the story. Guess those days are past us...
