Arcanine and Aerodactyl

I'm having a heck of a time with what to do with the two title Pokemon. I'm definitely going to EV them in attack. I was thinking Flare Blitz as one of my Arcanine's attacks, but that is all I can come up with. Any ideas for these two? Please help.
