Archeops or Aerodactyl?

I have an Archeops on my team, so I'll stick with that. Plus, it can run and I think it would look awesome running rather then flying.

It might have sweeping capabilities but if it hits a wall that hits back... It's stats go down the toilet... Aerodactyl... Obviously... If i want my Pokemon loosing it's stats then I'll choose a Archeops. But Aerodactyl is all around better. Due to the ablilty that is.

You sooooooooo only noticed this cuz i posted here XD. Lil stalker ;3

And well Archeops is a do-or-die pokemon so basically I use it to go on a killing spree until it dies off.

Though Aero is not bad at all either. I just prefer Archeops, thats all.

As much as I like Archeops, I have to go With Aerodactyl on this one, it maybe don't have the astronomycal attack base stat that archeops has, but he doesn't have an ability like defeatist

Aerodactyl. In my opinion it's cooler than Archeops and it has an insane Speed.
In general, I prefer the old fossils...

Aerodactyl's stats are better than Archeop's stats. The only snag is that in the G/S/C strategy guide, it incorrectly states that Kabutops evolved into Aerodactyl.

If you matched them up in a fight, aerodactyl would win, purely because of it's superior speed. But archeops's much higher attack puts it ahead of aerodactyl in my opinion

archeops was given defeatist so it would be crazy overpowered. (see slaking)

Everyone hates Archeops's ability, but it can't take a hit any way. Aerodactyl can't either.

Archeops also gets acrobatics, so it can pull of a sky gem sweep.

Aerodactyl's stats are better than Archeop's stats.

140 attack, 112 special attack, and 110 speed is beaten by Aerodactyl stat wise?
