Magikarp put in a surprisingly valiant effort, but the world's weakest Pokémon has finally gone the way of its brethren.

Also, there was a small error in yesterday's categories... in the "Kindest to Oshawott" category, Cleffa was supposed to be Togepi. Ah well. Togepi's too cute to be cruel anyway.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EIGHTH FLOOR
Just as ever, the elevator arrives, and you go with it. Just as ever, Snivy, Shroomish and a couple of feisty Pokémon tag along inside. Stepping into 8F, however, things don't go just as ever.
A Machop waiting outside the elevator door strikes you with a Seismic Toss. Luckily for you, you don't get sent around the world. I guess the anime was wrong about that sort of thing. The Machop quickly shoves you outside to take on the other critters.
Oddly enough, it's a Ferroseed living in the fake tree this time. A rapidly spinning steel ball covered with lethal spikes. Well, it is a fake tree.
Once again, adapted offices line the walls, with Pansage's floor being made of artificial turf, Mime Jr. mimicking YouTube videos all day, and Natu's office completely blank and empty except for a large and ornate cage, from which it completes all its paperwork (surprisingly enough, without eating it).
A stately greenhouse containing an Oddish stands along the south wall of 8F. Unfortunately, there are no exciting flowers in season and the only window view is of an endless sea of trees (these ones not even fake). Sigh... too much boredom.
9F: Volcanic Proportions
Yesterday's Eliminations
It's the beginning of the end of the start. The first starter, Tepig, has taken a fall due to its boredom. And both Pansage and Eevee have been chucked out of their own luxury offices for unclassiness. The others must be "in," because these two are most definitely "out."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

NINTH FLOOR
This storey starts out just like any other storey. Once upon a time, there were... offices. Everywhere. Tiny offices, stylish offices, and Karrablast's office, which is lined with postcards to a beloved Shelmet. One of them, which you catch out of the corner of your eye, appeared to be burning to its end.

As you swivel your head to the east, you notice that the fire cascading down from on high is just a boring old lava flow... sliding down a fake volcano that rises seemingly naturally out of the ground below. A fancy fence, complete with a "Please Do Not Feed The Volcano Gods" sign, has been constructed in front of the hill, down which a Darumaka slides like a very overweight and clumsy skier.

On the opposite side of the floor, an Axew and a Cubone wait behind two steel doors, somehow more menacing-looking than those below. They open out into a much fancier Colosseum room than the last one, with several rows of seats lining small circular pits. Pokémon are climbing into the audience and down to the stage... and this time, they're not just looking for autographs.

10F: A Washed-Up Place

Yesterday's Eliminations
:597: ;063; ;393; ;281; ;158; ;339; ;043; :504: ;265; ;255; ;004;
It was the end of the line for a couple of old favourites, as Patrat went down to Karrablast, and Wurmple got caught in the Colosseum with not one, but two dragons. Kirlia, who started on 4F, must also return to the forest with black singe marks on its dress. It's too bad... it looked like it had a real chance.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TENTH FLOOR
8F was grass... 9F was fire... Ah, yes. You remember what must be next when your eyes fall upon a gargantuan aquarium lining one wall, complete with what appears to be a real anchor and a full-sized human skull as a decoration. A Goldeen regards it with disinterest as Oshawott busts in through a filter in the floor, weighed down by other contenders on all sides.
In a room on the eastern wall, an antiquated computer glows blue with the electricity generated by a Magnemite. Looks like any Pokémon who's dumb enough to bring down the server... is going to get booted.
The two bathrooms on this floor are not only plagued by lineups, but also flooded. Huh. Better get out of them as fast as possible.
It's a very washed-up place, as you can tell by the Shellder and Krabby repairing obviously waterproof heating vents along one of the spotless glass walls (soon to be SmokeScreened, Rock Blasted and Acid-ed, needless to say), and the fact that Panpour has the right to own a luxury office, complete with a Soda Pop fountain.
Over in one of the only remaining dry corners, a uniformed Shelmet shields the entrance to a small office. The security guards on here are no slouches. No one suspicious is tolerated. Who will get the Taser?
Some weird ones today. Goldeen gets "tanked," and Panpour is trampled by thirsty fighters charging toward its soda fountain. Jigglypuff is free to be as lazy as it wants back out in the forest. Oddly enough, Bellsprout scrapes through yet another tough-guy zone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ELEVENTH FLOOR
Arriving on the eleventh floor, you immediately recognize it as another home sweet home. This time, the ice and candy machines are combined into one self-serving monolith, in which a live Vanillite makes its home and Fuzzy Pechas are selling like hotcakes.

Closer to the elevator doors, a cranky Glameow looks ready to pounce on anyone who annoys. It appears she's had a long day dealing with some very slippery customers.

Doors marked 111 through 117 line the walls. At door 112, you hear the slicing of claws, and a discoloured spot of water is pooling on the grey carpet. Behind other doors, the untidy ruffling of feathers can be heard. And in front of the particularly loud (yet cute in its snuffling noises) Apartment 117, a messy pile of festering tissues has been slipped under the door.

They're going to have a fine time cleaning up these ones. Who'll get the axe? You choose. Vote (don't etov) now!
