24F: Hotel DeNewman (+ Sky Key)
Yesterday's Eliminations

A lot of eliminations today, but some of them are made more bearable by the fact that their loved ones go with them. Volbeat and Illumise go dejectedly back into the forest side by side. Same thing with Nidorin@. (Get it? O + A = @? Oh, forget it.)

Sky Key!!
;188;
The usual "Sky Key... repeat, a Sky Key" thing rings out across this floor, in a manner which I've already described a couple of times; if you want the fancy description, go find it on another page. Skiploom, the only Pokémon to receive votes from all five of yesterday's Arconauts, gains the Sky Key. Kinda takes the fun out of voting, doesn't it?

TWENTY-FOURTH FLOOR
As the elevator arrives on 24F, you're glad to see you've arrived someplace more refined. The battlegrounds and vicious beams give way to high, vaulted ceilings, large chandeliers and checkered tiles.
You have reached the entrance hall of Hotel DeNewman, the last safe place before the Sky Lobby. An oddly familiar-looking Pelipper, in a blue hat and seemingly the manager of this place, greets you as you look around and find the reception desk. "Welcome! Please, please, allow me to explain this place a little.
"This hotel," says the manager, Pelipper, "is organized based on stats. This floor here is dedicated to our most defensive guests, whereas 25F is dedicated to the attackers, so naturally, that's where our great Colosseums are located. On 26F, the speedy are given the VIP treatment; the Special Attack geniuses hang out just above them on 27. The twenty-eighth floor stands for Hit Points; Finally, 29F is a haven for Special Defense.
"Well, I hope you enjoy your stay!" Pelipper concludes, before a racing Combusken barges in behind its desk and it gives it a most unenjoyable treatment.
A restaurant, staffed by Persian and decked out with mood lighting, offers the most gourmet delicacies (are those TinyMushrooms around the outsides of people's plates?). Its introspective music is, however, drowned out by a Metang doing karaoke on a nearby computer, as well as by the electronic beats of the nightclub next door, to which a Sudowoodo is keeping perfect time. The worst dancer loses.
The rest of the floor consists of spacious hotel rooms, running around the circular curve of the outer wall. Not one of the doors is open. On this floor, as Pelipper informed you, everyone is defensive, and they're all gearing up for resistance.
Will their resistance be futile? You decide. Vote now.
