Are legendaries wrong?

I use legendaries in my party.
There, I said it. But there are lots of people who would argue that it is noobish to use legendary pokemon.
Why has it becaome such a crime to use them? They were put into the game for a reason, and tbh it seems more likely that I could capture a legendary pokemon than I could kill it with my ordinary pokemon.
So, yeah. Post any thoughts or comments on this.

Legendary's aren't really wrong at all unless you use them in wi-fi battles all the time, or if that's the only pokemon you train. They are perfectly fine besides that.

No. There is nothing wrong with it. I would only say it's n00bish if you use all Ubers like Groudon, Mewtwo, etc... against a regular team.

I don't think it's a crime to use Legendary Pokemon. People just don't like it when others use Legendaries because they are so much better than ordinary Pokemon that they can pwn pretty much anything.

I don't use Legendaries. But that's because I like to collect them and leave them untouched.

I only use uber legends in uber competions (on PO), but I very rarely use any legends outside of uber tbh...

What? Legendaries aren't wrong at all. If you enjoy using them, then that's you. You don't have to go by what people say unless you're paranoid that you wouldn't, "Fit into the crowd". Really, legendaries are just like the rest of the Pokemon. They can be beat by absolutely any pokemon. They can be easily poisoned, paralyzed, put to sleep, and get confused. The only thing people don't like about legendaries is because of their immense abilities and rare moves. Really, they can be beaten like any other Pokemon.

A little of topic but... This is really sad. My friend who uses only Uber ledgends as never beat me when I only use OU pokemon. I think I've one like 50. I don't see a victory in his future.

Articuno, Mew, Raikou, Registeel, Lati@s, Jirachi, Deoxys-S, Mesprit, Heatran, Victini, Terrakion, Thundurus, Kyurem, Keldo, and Genesect/Dennis are the only non-uber legendaries I like to use while I am forced to weep about how I can't use Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Groudon, Rayquaza, Palkia, Darkrai, Skymin, and Zekrom for being uber and not OU material. This is why GF should make weaker legendaries so they can be more acceptable to players who don't use ubers but really wish to use a main legendary.

There's nothing wrong w/ using them ingame.

What sets some apart are their unfair stats. With Pokemon such as Arceus having stats that are double of what some Pokemon have, it isn't fair to use them against others competetively.

Others such as Raikou have good, but not overpowered stats. These are appropriate to use.

Think of it this way- if all Pokemon were allowed in all battles, what would be the point of using non-legendaries when they are overwhelmed easily.

Why don't you use them? If you want to use them do.
Anyway, if you like a legend, use it. It's only when you use them to purposley beat the game easily is when it's wrong.

Use them if you want. If someone moans that they can't beat you because they're using normal pokemon then they haven't trained their normal ones properly. I get mostly Legends on PBR and beat them most times. The biggest problem being a Darkrai and ditto combo where the Ditto transformed into a Darkrai. It was such a boring battle. I don't mind losing if the battle is good fun but this was just sooooooooooooooooooo OP and boring.

Anyway, just use what you want. They are most certainly NOT wrong. It is overkill if they are very OP and in a tier very high against someone elses pokemon but in competitive battling you're supposed to stick to pokemon within a certain tier.

People who moan that legends are for noobs are just noobs themselves.

The whole point of ubers is that they are overpowered. Shouldn't a god be more powerful than a regular animal? As well, if GF made all legendaries around OU status, the Ubers players would be unhappy.

As far as I'm concerned, legendaries are just like any other Pokemon and should be treated as such. Of course we have the Uber tier, but if you're favourites are in the Uber tier, just play the Uber tier. :/

The same failed logic applies. You're complaining that you can't use them, yet the reason you can't is because you won't let yourself.

Still just picture this: every single uber Pokemon is erased. No more ubers. Now, the strongest OU Pokemon automatically become ubers. If the only Pokemon were Garbodor, Delibird, Magikarp and Feebas, there would still be an uber; Garbdor as he is strongest.

It's because I feel like I'm cheating if I use at least one uber in my team. One uber can wipe an entire team w/ no ubers, whether or not it is trained right.

as a general rule, i'd say any legendaries that aren't legendary trios are unfair, but not impossible.
However, if you use entirely ubers, you're either a n00b or a total d**k.
