Hiragana, Katakana (for Pokémon names and non-Japanese text), and the occasional Kanji. (money (円), Red/Green on the title screen, but not much else) Most Japanese games don't use Kanji since they take buttloads of memory to store.
It seems like you don't really know about the structure of the Japanese language. Katakana is only used for foreign words that have been turned into Japanese words... if that makes sense. Orange Juice is called Orenji Juusu in Japanese. We write Orenji Juusu in Katakana because comes from a foreign word.
Anyhow, like MetalMario said, it contains Hiragana and Katakana only in the actual game.
