Are there any reasons you may be dissapointed of D/P?

If there's already a thread like this, pleas close it.

What has to happen that you are dissapointed with D/P?
Would you be dissapointed when it doesnt contain things/pokemon/graphic you hoped it had?
Or is there no possibility that you'll be dissapointed with it?

I would be dissapointed if D/P isn't different at all as the games we have already. I mean every new generation the games improved a alot. And that's why I'm expecting new things. If this isn't the case, I'll be dissapointed..:)

Yeah, ok!
Yes, if it's more or less a rehash of R/S, which was pretty disappointing as it was more or less the same as G/S, which was already more or less the same as R/B.

The entire overworld needs a revamp, I'm getting awfully bored of the same structure for the past 3 gens.

after reading the original amnga im hopeing the pokemon themselves look more pokemon like i meen dont get me wrong I like the ruby and sapphire mon but the new ones look a little digimony in a weird way (still good but just weird)

WHERE IS PIDGEOT?!
i would be dissappopinted if Eevee, Snorunt, Horsea and Houndour weren't in it. also, i cant see an interesting way to make it work with two screens without making one of the screens messy or pointless. but maybe it'll be ok. i also want gyms that havent had a 2nd chance eg steel, bug, ice, ghost etc

Yes. There's been a load of good Pokemon, Gameplay and attack ideas, and not many of these (if at all) will be implemented. Of course I'm going to be disappointed.

Okay, it will have 3D graphics in some places, but I think that the overword will just look very detailed. It's worked since the beginning and it will continue to work. Actually get into the games, you'll see why.

I'll only be dissapointed if it is just another "Johto" when it comes to the Pokémon. I like Johto; there was just too many pre-evos.

I'll be disappointed if: It doesn't have a dark type gym its about their was one and i hope the elite four if there is has dark-type trainer 2/3 gen is enough same goes for a dragon trainer 2/3 gen is enough.

I think it shouldn't make self way too different then our last i hope they have more strategy to battle or I'm dissappointed

Wont ANYONE notice that every type has been used for a gym? except dark?

Normal: Whitney and Norman (3rd Johto and 5th Hoenn)
Fire: Blaine, and Flannery (7th Kanto and 4th Hoenn)
Water: Misty, Wallace, and Juan (2nd Kanto and 8th Hoenn)
Grass: Erika (4th Kanto)
Dragon: Clair (8th Johto)
Ghost: Morty (4th Johto)
Flying: Falkner and Winona... (1st Johto and 6th Hoenn)
Electric: Lt. Surge and Wattson (3rd Kanto and 3rd Hoenn)
Fighting: Chuck and Brawly (5th Johto and 2nd Hoenn)
Rock: Brock and Roxanne (1st Kanto and 1st Hoenn)
Psychic: Sabrina and Tate and Liza (6th Kanto and 7th Hoenn)
Ice: Pryce (7th Johto)
Steel: Jasmine (6th Johto)
Bug: Bugsy (2nd Johto)
Poison: Koga (5th Kanto)
Ground: Giovanni (8th Kanto)

Dark was the only gym that wasnt done but there is Sidney in the Hoenn Elite Four. Anyways, gym types should be the last thing you should complain about D/P. Unless they are like all water, which I doubt.

If it doesnt use the Touch Screen very cleverly. I will be mad.

If things don't start becoming a lot more strategic in terms of the gameplay, and the plot doesn't really start to become something that say, might be a good novel to read--something that'd be easily remedied if the villains actually had degrees of success and weren't undone by a 10 year old and his level 20 Pokémon, that'd basically disapoint me.

There's other things, but they'd more 'irk' than 'dissapoint', but with some of the ideas a group of fans on a forum are making (hi), if this just ends up being really similar to the previous games.... ugh. I'm not asking for a total rehash, I'm a traditionalist at the core, but we need to shake things up.

Nothing to be done
I'm unlikely to be dissappointed, as I really have no expatations. That's not to say I'm expecting the worst. It just means that I'll be satisfied with anything. All I want is another Pokemon game to enjoy, whether that means another following the same tried and true pattern or not. I'm yet to grow tired of the the third generation games.

However, one thing I do worry about is the use of the Touch Screen. I can only hope that it won't be used as a gimic or be an integral part of gameplay. I want a Pokemon game, not a "Super Magic Touch Touch Pikachu Party!". It's use should be limited to small minigames at most.

The Ultimate Absol~
I won't really be disapointed with anything. It will probaly be a very good game (we have been waiting for 2 years(we will call it an eternity)for these games to come out). But I haven't any screenshots yet (I'm expecting some on or close to May 15), and cannot make any promises that I won't be disapointed with anything.

I'd be dissipointed if the people weren't squashed little dwarves. They've always be this way, so why change them? I really hope they don't.

blueguy

used Metronome!
I'll be disappointed if they don't bring anything new or innovative to the table. If it's the same old stuff in a new setting it'll be interesting and fun, like any of its predecessors, but it won't take it anywhere it hasn't gone.

Supreme Overlord
If the games are too out there from previous games as in very few connections or the ability to keep it the same with the DS which will make it harder. And a snowy area as well....

The Thunderbird

Dreams come true
I'd be dissapointed if I have to use the microphone to attack.

Ready for a vacation
I'll be disappointed if:

1. It's in 3D. *points to signature*
2. We have to use the mic to command attacks.
3. There aren't more than 120 new Pokemon... n_n; The more the better, I say.
4. We have to go to a special event to get Lucario. (in otherwords, I'll be disappointed if he's an "unobtainable" legendary)
and 5. If we get anymore BABIES! *foams at the mouth*
