Are you choosing the male or the female trainer? Marina or the new girl?

I forgot- is Marina a name option in the Japanese version of Crystal? At least the American game called her Kris on the back of the box. Because if not, I don't think it's on an American game, or any other game, so I don't know why people are using the name of the anime.

Yeah, probably as Marina was used in the Raikou special. I think the Special manga called her Kris too. So, the game could have both as the game usually have the anime name and the game name.

But, I'm not totally sure.

Kris/Marina has more legacy then soul, she broke the gender barrier, plus, Kris/Marina is prettier, soul's hat looks like someone duck-taped a kyogre to a peanut (kyogre=hat peanut=soul, and yes, soul is a peanut anyway)

I've never played the original G/S/C so I can't really form an opinion on Marina or the new girl... /shot

Anyways, I'm a girl so I will choose the girl to play. I actually like her design. Her clothes look nice and stuff... ^_^; Yeah, like I said, I can't really form a proper opinion since I didn't play the originals.
