While is nice seeing Sobble every episode I hope he gets an episode or two after Raboot evolves. I'm not sure it will fully evolve like Scorbunny but Drizzile is fine.

I want Sobble to evolve, specifically so Cinderace can look at it and go, "Oh God, was I like that?!" like how I assume how most people act after growing out of their edgy phases.

That's not it at all you and freaking know it.
Look at how many people ship the SM girls with Ash, yeah there's hardly any. Same with Iris. People want a girl in the cast because it keeps things interesting and gives the characters vastly different interests
"But muh ships!" People ship AshxGoh, how is that any different?

Unless the girl actually shows interest in Ash, ships don't take off like Pokeshipping used to be and Amour currently is. It's just people having fun pairing characters even if it makes no sense which is something every fandom does, unlike that strange obsession some people have with babies here. Burnet's and wanting Pikachu to have an egg... it's disgusting!

Nobody's said they want a girl around for ship reasons, it has more to do with the fact that... there really isn't a girl around at all in most episodes. Jessie and Chloe are the only ones but they're not in every episode and it's just a guessing game as to when they'll pop up
Ash's companion should have been a girl, I hope they at least make up for it by making Marnie the main rival. Ash could really use a female as his main rival to make things fresh, since Casey was axed and Bianca was inept(Not the anime's fault, they stayed true to her character), and Shauna was given to Serena(Tierno would have been a better rival for her, y'know if she did contests... but whatever)

Well not the part with Eevee, we were more mad cause it was literally RIGHT there next to Pikachu in the fore front of the poster. It was bait but not anywhere as near as bad as Sobble was, literally being shown as Ash's.... and the insulting manner Sobble was caught too -_-
At least Eevee never got pictured with Pikachu, Torracat, Lycanroc, and Rowlet.
Part of that was also cause 'Hey, let's give a Water specialist an Eevee but not evolve her! And let's completely ignore that Dewpider we set up!', it could have gone to Lillie so her practicing captures actually paid off instead of only getting utilized on a singular UB... which got released so the payoff wasn't really worth it :/

Some folks were shipping Ash with Goh anyway. Guess those kind of ships are just niche.

Either way, I'll say I agree with this bit. Sometimes I feel it is more about the lack of a female to ship with either of the boys than anything. Not saying it applies to everyone but there are some cases I'm fairly confident that's the reason

To be fair, on Eevee's specific case, it was more because the show seemed to make a big deal out of it, put said Eevee in a poster close to Ash back when he had an open spot on his team AND LGPE was a thing. Eevee even got his own little segments before the main cast actually meeting it.

And all for Eevee ultimately becoming Lana's pokémon. I don't hate Lana or anything and Eevee is far from being my favorite, but I'll agree that was a big dissapointment.

Most of the time, the only person around seeing Goh do the captures is Ash. And we all know how Ash can sometimes forget the old "weaken the pokémon before capturing it" thing.

I still stand by my theory that pokéball technology has evolved so there's no longer a need for a "battle and weaken the pokémon to capture it". Probably to make it easier for begginners or avoid having them picking battles they won't win.

It is true Go gets alot of focus. I get they are duo protagonists but the execution is poorly. Take ep 37 for example should focus on the two, but Gou gets the most focus

I mean the episode isn't even out yet? Besides the summary says ash reunites with friends and pokemon.
Gengar and farfetch'd are in the episode so old and new mons probably meet, that's a big chuck of an episode, besides it's kiawe who challenges Go, and that's exactly what everyone has been asking for "old companions getting focus".
And if the episode has ash reignite his spark, while advancing goh as a trainer, that's exactly how dual focus works? And everyone wants Go to battle more, but now that's a bad thing cuz it's in alola?

I really hope Goh gets more episodes like the one we had this week. I really hope we get to see him putting more work into his capture and making use of the pokémon he has more often

No. In fact, I would like to see Go battle and bond with Pokemons more, even if they're Ash's specialities. I'm not interested about Ash, as I've seen him enough already and I don't want to be reminded on how strong he is again. His "regional" Pokemons mostly get passes because they started fresh. I was also supporting the previous companions more than Ash in the past series too.

I'm with you, I'd imagine that Amourshipping and Goh X Serena fans (whatever that is name, I don't know what will be called) fought each other. I'll grab my popcorn too.

back on topic, i'd like to see Goh catch more new pokemon aside from cinderace and Sobble aside from "Galar is just improved version of Alola." but i doubt it.

Chloe barely exists in the show and has almost to none interactions with the boys for it to matter. But I do believe there's people who ship them. Guess they don't show up because they think they won already? Kind of like the Pikashippers - they exist and you all know it - out there :p
