Argument about fossils - Pokemon raised from death

cloning is duplacating something,while ressurecting is bringing back to life using the remains of the pokemon,so there is a slight difference.
Right. Cloning is creating a different life form but just with the same DNA. Resurrecting is bring back to life the exact same creature.

I think it's cloning that's involved here, therefore the pokémon that died is still dead.
