When going to edit your sig, hit the fourteenth button on the toolbar, it looks like a mountian (I think) and it is to isnert an image. Then, you get a dialogue box requesting the link to yuor iamge, copy it off of imageshack, photobucket, or whatnot.
If you understand the tags, all it is is an IMG tag...

EDIT: If that does not help, then reread the FAQ. It seems pretty clear to me...

if youre not using the advanced put the link of the picture in [img*][/img*]tags of course take out the *
