Ash gets turned into a pikachu

My friend said that in one episode ash got turned into a pikachu i have two questions about that

1) Is this a real episode?
2) What season did it come on?

Yes its a real episode and it was during the Johto League, i think during Master Quest.

Yes, it did happen. It occured in "Hocus Pokemon," during Master Quest.
