Hey! Can I join in on this? Hehe....

What costume did you like Ash in best?
Hmm.... That really is a hard question to answer. There's so, SO many! Umm... I probably wouldn't be able to narrow it down completely, but my top ones would definitely be:
-The Maid Outfit (him and Dawn were so cute!)
-The Wallace Cup Outfit
-The Sir Aaron Garb

The episode where they had to where the Maid outfits was awesome, as was the Wallace Cup one, and the Sir Aaron outfit just magnified how the movie was!

Ash is easily one of the cutest characters ever~

Sir Aaron costume. It was stylish and awesome and the darkish colours really suited Ash. xD

Oh, I'd love to see Black Mage Ash in a Contest....

Black Mage Ash (the Aaron garb looks like a mage to me)
Indiana Ash would be nice to see again

Oh yes. Seeing him in a Sir Aaron like garb again for a contest would be wonderful *A*

Er...mind if I start a new topic?

What qualities of Ash make him annoying/frustrating but at the same time, they endear him to you?

After all, in order to truly like a character, you have to like their faults as well xD

He can be stubbron and airheaded at times, but that's where a good chunk of his funny moments come from. (remember the radio interview he mangled?)

Hehe, I love Satoshi~! He's hilarious, serious, brave, clever, and cute at the same time.;3

Um, his stubbornness? How he sometimes takes forever to find out the obviousness. How do you say? Oh, yeah. His denseness. ^^ Although, it's what makes Satoshi, Satoshi. ;D

Can I join?
I love Ash, he is the best character in Pokemon ^_^
He's a great Pokemon Trainer, and I love his moments with Pikachu ;]
I loved Ash in the earlier seasons, he was hilarious back then, but he's still pretty funny now =)

This past Saturday's episode was great! It focused mostly on Ash and his helping a group of wild Pokemon and a poor stranded Wailmer. It was funny how Luxio kept shocking Ash to communicate.

This week comes Ash and Paul's first full battle! I hope Ash really puts up a fight, even though he loses!

I know. that is really sad. i wonder what Ash's reaction will be when he loses? i heard that he looks really beaten up after the match.

I´m sure it will be hard to swallow. He has undoubtedly yearned for this
chance to prove everybody Paul´s cruel training methods inferior. Therefore
this loss must be extremely frustrating, as he must face the fact that despite
Paul´s brutal way of handling Pokémon, he is still ahead of Ash on many
levels. I have a gut feeling the couple forthcoming episodes will be a pivot
point for Ash´s character in this saga, and that he´ll discover a whole lot
about himself thanks to this battle.

I think you're right.

Ash has come a long way, and is much closer to bridging the gap between his and Paul's skill levels that he has ever been. But there is still some room for improvement, which is what Ash will probably learn after this loss.

You just made the episode more interesting rung.

Anyway i had a dream about the episode after Ash vs Paul. When Ash lost Paul said really harsh words to Ash about him as a pokemon trainer and he shoudl quit begin a pokemon trainer and blah blah blah. Then Ash thinks about the words Paul said to him and thinks about if he should quit as a pokemon trainer.

I can't help but to think about the possiblites outcomes of that but Ash doesn't give up but it was sure an interesting dream. ^^

That was an epic dream. How come I only manage to have dreams about
lawn mowers.. :)

IRL, I doubt any person could actually verbally persuade him to quit, be it
intentional or mere put down, though there are maybe like two people in the world
whom he holds in high regard enough to take their words seriously; Gary
and professor Oak. Unlikeably either of them have any desire to tell Ash
what he should do with his life, though.

Certainly Ash must still sometimes have his weak moments, when in doubt
of his destiny. After all, Gary had no problems whatsoever kissing the
battling goodbye after discovering his true passions. Plus the Pokémon world
has changed a lot since Indigo League, Ash has discovered many
alternatives to gym battling during his journeys by now: rangers,
coordinators, research, you name it. F.ex. I could very well see Ash as a
Ranger, given his stout-heartedness, love towards Pokémon and natural will
to help those in need.
