Ash leaving his AG team for a D/P team

Something has been bothering me lately. I've heard a rumour that Ash will eventually get rid of his AG team (except for Pikach, of course) and fill his team with the D/P pokemon. Is this true?

Well yes, obviously. Just as all the pokémon he acquired in previous regions were eventually left behind/sent to Ookido, it's really no surprise that the same should happen to his Houen squad.

But it just wouldn't be the same. Ash's pokemon have all been loyal to him. Why should he get rid of them?

Exacity.

He left behind his Kanto team for Johto Pokemon, his Johto for Hoenn. He has to make room for some D/P pokemon so it makes sense that he will leave behind his Hoenn team for D/P

Not quite. Ash took his Kanto team to Johto and there eventually some of his Kanto pokemon left his team one by one. First Charizard, then Squirtle and finally Bulbasaur.

Still, I don't think Ash should leave all his Hoenn pokemon at Oak's.

BTW, if there's already thread talking about this where is it?

Well, he kept his Kanto team for Johto at the start, but gradually released/sent back to Oak's to make room for Johto. He completely left his team sans Pikachu when he went to Hoenn, so there's no telling what he'll do now.

Ash's Kingler and Muk are loyal too. Why should they be left at Oak's? Same principle.

Some people don't like it, but it will happen eventually (well 99% chance). The little electric rat will be the only one ever to constantly remain on his team.

Reasons

Kingler: When Ash caught it as a Krabby, it was immediately sent to Oak's. At the time Ash was unaware that he cannot carry more than six pokemon.

Muk: When Ash caught it, it had an unpleasant smell so he quickly sent it to Oak's.

Back to topic
I'm shocked that most of you want Ash to get rid of his AG team. I'm not even sure what the new pokemon will look like.

When Sceptile forgot its attacks, it wasn't sent back to Oak's. So why should Kingler and Muk?

Anyway, enough ranting from me, my point has been said about the actual topic in the previous post.

CyberCubed

Yeah, ok!
Its already happened with Glalie/Torkoal as well as May's Beautifly/Skitty/Bulbasaur, why is this a surprise?

Ash and May's team will eventually be filled with D/P Pokemon, thus the writers need to make room and set the previous team into storage.

Sceptile, Swellow and Corphish were GREAT, they were the AG versions of Bulbasaur, Charizard and Squirtle, but they're not permanent rosters on the team.

You asked whether or not it was true. Your personal opinion is irrelevant. :/
I'm saying I don't care if you think leaving old pokemon for new ones is a normal tradition.

Sadly (not really, I am all for it) neither do the writters. If he left behind his incredible Kanto team (I don't care what some people say, his Kanto team would massacre his his Hoenn team) he will leave behind the remainder of his great Hoenn team.

Why did you make this thread then? To hope the writters come here and listen to your opinions, or to force your opinions on us?

Also this is a guess but weren't you the one who also made that Jessie thread where you just went on about how much you hate Jessie?

:/

Why did you have to bring that up??? What's the use? You're assuming that I once again have made a thread with a complicated topic with more complicated posts? Close this stupid thread for all I care. I really hate losing.
