blah blah who the fk gives a fking damn. And I should note that it was reasonable for him to lose considering he was using Corphish which hasnt seen actual battle in a longass time in comparison to Politoed who has likely seen battle daily, thus already surpassing what Corphish has ever done.

It was a loss as soon as he used Corphish. And no giving “b-but bwAtTlE FwoNtiEr” cause that horsecrap means nothing if you haven’t seen proper action in a longass time and especially if you weren’t even the strongest in the original time you were travelling.

Did Totodile do anything? I actually forgot about it when I was thinking over the episode immediately and took for someone else to mention its name for me to remember who it was.

I don't recall Rowlet doing anything at all but Levanny did comfort Psyduck after Pikachu completely ignored him for Misty.

Im gonna miss this series Even i wasn’t alive at the time misty and brock first appeared I still remember watching them back in 2016 tbh Itd still nostalgic too me

Meh, it just means Corphish is more apt to highs and lows, which we already know from AG.

Misty was always going to win here due to the power of the narrative. In any other context, Ash had that battle won with Corphish going for the final blow.

Just hung out with Pikachu. The main star of the episode was Corphish.

Different people bring different sides of you out. There is a deep connection between Misty and Ash that seems to draw out his true, fun, personality.

If you think back to the most boring version of Ash, XY Ash, his companions felt like work colleagues that he had to retain a certain degree of professionalism with. There is an old saying in my home country that a peacock will only show all its colors when it feels at home...Ash feels totally comfortable with Misty, he's not sleeping with one eye open, worrying that he will be lunged at by some crazy fan girl.

Iris loses in an all-out dragon battle vs Ash but Misty wins against him in water vs water. Is Misty closer to becoming a water type master than Iris is to becoming a dragon master???

Look at how fearless Misty was in challenging the champion.
