Ash's new Fire-type pokemon?

Hejiru

Rev up those fryers
In every seaon, league, region, genration, whatever, Ash has almost the same types of Pokemon:

Electric (duh)
Grass
Fire
Water
Flying
Some other type like Ice/Dragon/Bug /Normal

We know he has Aipom, Neatoru, and Mukkuru, and out of the D/P water pokemon, he'll probably get IN MY OPINION Buoysel, maybe Karanakushi.
But there are hardly any Fire types in D/P (Grr! Why cant they add a few more Fires, and some other, making it 500? Why stop at 493?) Sorry. Anyway, he wont get the starter obvioslly, and of course never a legendary like Hiidoran, so that leaves Buuburn. He'll probably catch a Magmar or something.Ash's Magmar...that would be cool. What do you think?

In Kanto and Johto Ash caught all three starters but in Houen he only got Treecko. Some team traditions change.

And remember, Ash could catch a Pokemon from an earlier game.

Gaiash is right. I've predicted for some reason that in DP, Ash's Fire Pokemon is gonna be Magby perhaps. Then he'd get Magmar, then Booburn. Kind of a counterpoint to Shinji having Elekid, then likely Electabuzz and Elekible/Electbull/Elecable.

Thank you, SPPf! :)
Nobody says Ash NEEDS a fire-type on his team. I mean, look at Battle Frontier. No fire-types whatsoever with him on the main adventure. They were only called in for some facility fights.

Oh great. Another thread about getting a Fire type. ::Smacks forehead:: This goes in the Spoilers section, too!!

Yeah, i guess that's true, but i just lumped Battle Frontier in with 3rd Gen. Bryon raises a good point, though. Maybe he will get Magby. A ghost pokemon would be cool, i always wished he had kept Haunter. And Primeape for that matter. I thought Ash just let that guy have him for a while so he could train it. Why did the writers decide to get rid of it so soon after he caught it?

Or bring back Torkoal. From what I've heard, it needs some wins, maybe a chance to clobber Shinji.

Why can't he use Heracross? It was rarely used. And if he had some sense he would use a Tauros. But he doesn't. And if he did it would be either Tauros# 4n or Tauros#24.

Holy Pancakes! I'm right?

I have to say seeing Ash with Magby/Magmar/Booburn would be kinda cool.

Well, Tauros is able to learn fire attacks in the game, why not in the anime as well.

^^ And I figured you were right about it. Hence why I suggested Ash getting Magby. :)

He has returned.
why will you PP's not relent, i swear Buuburn is the ugliest thing walking the pokemon earth, and the reasoning that "OMG it and Elekible are destined to clash!" is the lamest thing i have heard, one pokemon is not going to dictate another's capture, and for the record i DO NOT see Ash making an old gen capture in sinnoh, mainly cause in new regions Ash tends to ONLY catch the new pokemon to premote them, while others from said region (May, Hikari, and Shinji) can catch the older pokemon as they have not seen them before, and for the love of god enough with the "OMG he caught Aipom in the BF!" excuse, the battle frontier was a FILLER SAGA!, meaning all capture restrictions were off, now that he is in sinnoh they are back on, and another thing is, you think those who think Neatoru will become dotatios are crazy, you guys are equally as bad, by thinking Ash will get a Magby and it will evolve into Buuburn by the end of sinnoh, that is way to many evo's to handle, Ash already has two that have to go twice, and a third that goes once, seriously if they give Ash anything else, it either needs to be Fully evolved or uncapable of it, and the last one needs to only evolve once as well, and seriously an old school with Ash taking precidence over his new guys, don't make me laugh they want to milk the new breed that they stick with Ash for all it's worth so i don't see why they would waste their time giving him an old school now, and then there is the item evolution involved in it, yes the writers have gotten around it countless times, but to my recolection Ash has never had a pokemon to date that required an item to evolve other than Pikachu(who we all know will never do it) and i don't see the writers changing that either since every pokemon Ash has caught today evolves naturally on in some cases can not evolve at all, i really wish you dan PP's would use your heads instead of rushing in saying "OMG he has to get it to keep the pattern going!" as far as i'm concerned, a ceratin useless stupid creature that had no business being caught anyway already messed the pattern up(i'm still hoping that it is released) so i say break it even more.

Battle Frontier basically worked out as an additional League. *The best filler in my eyes*

And why the heck is everyone all liek "Ash could catch a Ponyta". He had that opportunity YEARS ago. Before we even knew about Tortodile or Mudkip or Pocchama. I'm not saying he WON't catch a Ponyta (if you ask me, he does look good on it and Rapidash), but I'm saying that he's in HSinnoh now, and his whole party, with the exception of Pikachu, will be pure D/P by 8th badge.

Hell, mabye he'll catch a Magby or a Magmar and have it evolve into Booburn later on. Mabye he won't we don't know, we aren't the writers of the show. Hell if the writers know anything past episode 25. Just let the series play out and we'll see what he get's. But it's most likely gonna be a Shinnoh Pokemon.

But then again, there's still the possibility of Ash not having a Fire type this time around in his main party, but in his PC. He could use some extra pokemon. Plus, he has been a bit catch-sterile lately. Aw, whatever it is, I'm sure it'll turn out as a powerhouse on Ash's team and we'll all be happy in the end. And don't forget, Ash has already cleared up 4 of his six available slots for his Pokemo party *fastest time yet*. Mabye the other two are reserved for ______ and _________.
