Last set wasn't mixed it was more of a set designed to take on Misdreavus, I think. He'll prolly be up for re-nomination so we'll see what he's up against this time, yea?

Also, I dream of a xat that is always active. A xat where all races could co-exist! A xat where you arent judged, by the clan you represent, or the Pokemom you prefer using, no, a xat where freedom and acceptance and conversation are as abundant as the air that surrounds you now!

VOTE MCBARETT AND THE NEXT 4 YEARS WILL BE THE GREATEST 4 YEARS IN THIS NATIONS HISTORY

I dream for that xat too! Sadly, I don't get home until 5:00 and always seem to have tons of homework.

Oh and...

ITS TIME FOR RESULTS

The winner of the NU teammate nominations iiisss...

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 8 Sp.Def
Modest Nature
- Sleep Powder

With its undeniably helpful supportive/offensive capabilities sporting a chill 100 Sp.atk with max investment alongside it, heavy hitting base 140 STAB, and the potential to cripple TWO of its opponents Pokes and keep on doing it all via Regenerator/Synthesis, Tangela solidifies our defenses and got the majority vote!

So far our team is...

Now that we're more then halfway done with this CCAT and our Pokes our all positioned out and stuff, we should really be able to figure out what threatens us and what we should do next! I still think Skuntank is a good choice since it absorbs T-Spikes like Moon said and allows us a trapper and priority AND a resist to ghost/dark. Something to work alongside Charizards offensiveness and help rid him of his problems seems viable as well. Maybe something speedy and full on offensive? Idk im just throwin it out cuz it might get someone going... What about you dudes? ^^

Gratz on that, dudes, we're really makin time.

We should just have multiple skunktank sets running against each other >.>

Its the face of aaa...content joltik -w-

Also wish I made it to xat when its more active. DRAGO WHENS MOVIE NIGHT

How bout next Monday at 9 pm gmt -4, that way everyone gets a bit of a notification (I'll make another post later in the week)

I still think some offensive presence would be a good idea, but the more I look at Skuntank (who I've never used before) the more I'm liking him. If someone nominated a mixed Skuntank set again I'd probably vote for it (how the hell did Tangela win the last one? Are you people on crack?)

Tangela is too strong in nu

vote McBarrett huh?

What are we voting for McBarrett for?

My replacement :x

Let me try and remember how this goes...

Skuntank @ Life Orb
Naughty - Aftermath
252 Attack, 176 Sp. Atk, 80 Speed
-Sucker Punch
-Fire Blast
-Taunt
-Poison Jab

Something like that anyways.

Not nominating this yet. So seriously, don't just cut and paste this and make me look like an idiot with a 4 word description again please. :)

Aha, found the set.

Skuntank @ Life Orb
Lonely - Aftermath
252 Attack, 220 Sp. Atk, 36 Speed
-Sucker Punch
-Pursuit
-Hidden Power (Grass)
-Sludge Bomb

He's EV'd to hit 213 Speed, which outspeeds something important that I don't remember. After that Attack is maxed and the rest is dumped into Sp. Atk to make his Special moves hit like a truck. Sludge Bomb is his preferred Special STAB, which OHKOs shit like Tangela and comes with a healthy 30% chance to Poison the target, which can severely cut into a wall's longevity when it's losing 12.5% of its HP every turn. Hidden Power (Ground) is what Smogon used to recommend, but I find Hidden Power (Grass) is a better replacement that can 2HKO Alomomola after Stealth Rock while still hitting Regirock and the likes for solid damage. Pursuit lets him trap Spinblockers that annoy Wartortle (he also absorbs Toxic Spikes for Wartortle, which the turtle hates), and Sucker Punch gives him a good priority move to patch up his subpar Speed. Obviously not a sweeper but a potent threat nonetheless, and in my opinion so much better than physical Skuntank.

Here's a few examples of things that this set can do which the physical shit can't do.

220 SpA Life Orb Skuntank Sludge Bomb vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Tangela: 330-393 (99.09 - 118.01%) -- 93.75% chance to OHKO
(330, 335, 338, 343, 346, 351, 354, 359, 361, 367, 369, 374, 377, 382, 385, 393)

220 SpA Life Orb Skuntank Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Alomomola: 239-283 (44.75 - 52.99%) -- 89.84% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock
(239, 242, 244, 247, 252, 255, 257, 260, 263, 265, 268, 270, 273, 276, 278, 283)

220 SpA Life Orb Skuntank Hidden Power Grass vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Regirock: 133-156 (36.84 - 43.21%) -- 99.19% chance to 3HKO
(133, 133, 135, 135, 138, 140, 140, 143, 143, 146, 148, 148, 151, 151, 153, 156)

220 SpA Life Orb Skuntank Sludge Bomb vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Sawk: 157-187 (53.76 - 64.04%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
(157, 160, 161, 164, 165, 168, 169, 172, 173, 175, 177, 179, 181, 183, 185, 187)

220 SpA Life Orb Skuntank Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Miltank: 165-196 (41.87 - 49.74%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
(165, 168, 169, 172, 173, 175, 177, 179, 181, 183, 185, 187, 188, 191, 192, 196)

As you can see it breaks stall so much better than physical Skuntank does by 3HKOing a lot of the prominent physical walls in the game, while still scoring most of the KOs that physical sets get with Sucker Punch and Pursuit.

And for the record, yes, that second part IS my nomination (if we're in the nomination phase or whatever. If not I'll save it until we are.).

Pffft I keep telling you, you said yourself it was self-explanatory. -w-

'Sides, I helped expand on it a bit!

And arright, looks like we've gotta mixed set on our hands~ An explanation like that is more then enough, with even calcs and all. I'll accept it, I mean, why wouldn't I?

Hm. I can see the merits of using skunt and and tangela. Sure skuntank is more powerful but tangela has a sleep inducing move and higher defense compared to skuntanks decent bulk and utility. However its typing leads me to like the pure grass type. Though it doesn't get dual stab.

On another note. I wrecked another team with a sub swords dancing liechi berry talonflame.8 6-0's with it since yesterday. Lol
