Assassins [M]

[we have reached a good number of participants -- sign-ups are now closed. LSUs, however, may be accepted in the future, assuming this RPG succeeds.]

WARNING: Assassins is an RPG about, bluntly, an organization that recruits young subjects and gives them a chance to rise out of poverty by gaining strange abilities and executing troublesome politicians and other important targets. Naturally, it will contain sizeable amounts of violence, although all sexual things will most probably be references and not actual happenings. It will also deal with some strong subjects, such as the recruiting of children. If you think you can deal with all of this--read on.

Also, please do not flame me on this. While it is based on historical events, it has been taken greatly out of proportion and is not to be considered a rendering of the real world, but rather an almost alternate universe.

A S S A S S I N S

December.
1991.

The entire country was quite sure that soon they would be sitting in families under a well-ornamented Christmas tree, opening costly presents and rejoicing in the glory of a beautiful night, a spectacular night of, finally, happiness.

However, their pride was destroyed and their lives collapsed with it.

December, 1991. One of the two world powers on the planet, the Soviet Union, has been completely dismantled. The greatest communist nation, potentially the most influent ammalgamation of countries in the entire world, has fallen apart, and with it, its millions of citizens have plunged into chaos.

After its destruction, the Union--or the USSR--separated into fifteen different republics, the Russian Federation being the largest of them. The new Russians were confused, certainly lost. With the end of the USSR came one of the greatest economical collapses that the world had ever seen, leaving vast millions of countrymen without the necessary money to maintain themselves, much less their families. After the USSR, Russia, like all the other nations that rested next to each other, had fallen into an economical abyss so deep that climbing out seemed like an impossible endeavor.

Perhaps you would like to know what happens to a small, abandoned village, with no money to feed oneself or others. Perhaps you would not. It would certainly be interesting to observe a population that has plunged into deep desperation--the alarming rise in murders and suicides. The incredible peak of alcohol-related deaths. The astounding growth of prostitution and rape, everywhere. The children of Russia were desolated, left to fend for themselves after everything that had held their fragile human lives up was, in one blow, diminished.

Two years passed and the situation was simply not recovering. Large cities became the final shelter for those citizens who managed to obtain some coins one way or another and survive, as well as feed their children. Of course, some children fed themselves as they could--one had to work to live. There would always be an old man thirsting for a good time in bed, or a photographer taking advantage of the situation, taking little boys and girls to ´pose for some photographs´ and then feed them something out of his pocket.

And yet, a ´savior´ always arives, like a phoenix from the ashes--or more accurately, like a vulture picking at the remains of corpse.

While survival was a possibility in large cities, the little villages scattered across what was once the USSR were essentially left to perish. Everybody painfully assumed that their end would arrive at some point or another. And yet, for every desperate group, there will always be someone--or something--that knows how to exploit it.

It first started in some villages, but soon expanded to dozens of abandoned towns all over the fifteen shattered countries. It was an enigmatic, low-profile organization that nobody detected until it had suddenly infiltrated your town, convinced your citizens and recruited your children. It was known as the Lupus Invicti.

In this time most people were prepared to do anything for the money necessary to survive, and the Lupus Invicti was one of the best options for this. A shadowy group that easily gained the confidence of townsfolk with swaying speeches of national pride, retaliation and a better tomorrow for the children--"for the future of Russia", they soon began to grow in numbers, as they would take the children of village families, and train them.

It was an effective process. If you gave your child to the Lupus Invicti, you and the rest of your family would be provided with a monthly payment, that, while modest, was greatly welcome among everyone. Meanwhile, you needn´t worry for your child--he or she was doing an important service to not only the country, but the entire world, and living a much better life, with good food, a roof over their head and a lot of friends to make.

Perhaps an important detail, however, is that what these children learned to do was kill.

At first this notion was introduced softly among the people of Russia and surrounding countries, and they, of course, did not accept it. But the persuasive ways of the Lupus Invicti eventually gained acceptance among the people. After all, their children were going to become people to be proud of. They were going to rid the world of "bad men". And, most importantly, they were going to have a future beyond their dying villages and forsaken homes. They were going to live. And thus, the Lupus Invicti began to grow. As it grew, it was contacted by nations all over the world, making under-the-table deals. The work of the Lupus Invicti rapidly became international; they averted crises and dismantled threats, silently and efficiently, by simply assassinating troublesome political and military leaders all over the globe, always making it appear like an accident. They were known worldwide--secretly of course--due to the efficience of their assassins.

So, how does an organization primarily consisting of untrained, poor children become the most important guild of assassins? It is rumored that the Lupus Invicti´s members are not normal in any way. It is rumored that they are in possession of something strange, something that defies everything that the entire world knows.

Within the chambers of the Lupus Invicti organization, exists a marvelous substance, heavily guarded. Every new recruit is brought to the room where it is contained, and exposed to it for a minute. This is what grants the subject a special ability beyond what anybody would ever think a human could possibly do. Every subject reacts differently to the substance, dubbed the ´Crystal Blood´, and therefore everyone obtains a different special ability. This is the Lupus Invicti: an organization, born out of poverty, raised in blood and now sending its offspring all over the globe, to kill.

***

Present days. The Lupus Invicti is not a Russian organization of silencers anymore; now it is a truly international organization of silencers. Instead of recruiting only the lost children of the Soviet Union, they have grown, expanded to many countries in Europe and Asia, entering the poorest, most marginal villages of each nation, and softly murmuring their plans in the audience´s ear. Each year they obtain hundreds of members, eager to be trained until they are skillful enough to participate in their first mission. The Lupus Invicti is still alive, and well, growing succesfully and killing efficiently. Through the years of its existence is has taken missions from every powerful country in the world, as well as many third-world nations putting themselves on debt in exchange for a swift assassination.

You.

You are one of the many members of Lupus Invicti, admitted into it only a couple months ago. While you know your way around the headquarters, you are still fresh, and your basic training is, while close to it, not complete yet. Once it is, you will be exposed to the famous Crystal Blood, receive your special ability, and shortly after that take on your first mission.

Currently one of the most alarming politicians is Iranian Yazir Midan, a congressman with a majority of the country backing him up. His violent speeches call for action, and demand the nation to re-initiate construction of nuclear weapons. "This must end now, and it must be ended swiftly", he claims.

The politician recently traveled to the United States of America for some discussions regarding his ideals, as the USA hopes to discourage him.

However peace talks have dragged on for over a month without concrete agreements, and the Lupus Invicti had been contacted. They are to send a team to America and quietly execute politican Yazir Midan, and, as ordered, make it appear as if an Iranian terrorist had been the culprit.

You have recently been assigned to this ´easy´ mission, and will be forming part of the team going to the USA and performing the job efficiently, once your training is over and you have acquired your special ability. If you succeed, a welcoming home awaits you along with friends, a good home and a good meal, until your next mission is ordered. If you fail, the only alternative is, of course, death.

This is the real Lupus Invicti; these are the real Assassins. It is your time to rise.

The Lupus Invicti: An Overview

This is some insight into how the Lupus Invicti works. It is not required to understand or sign up for the RPG; it simply provides a more detailed view of the actual headquarters and other aspects.

The main quarters of the Lupus Invicti, a colossal structure cleverly hidden among the snowy peaks of Asia, has an exact location that is not disclosed to anyone but the very highest officials of the organization. Some assure that it is in China, while some say that it borders the Himalaya line of mountains. Some say that the whole "HQ is in China" statement is meant to mislead people and it is on an entirely different continent; more radical theories claim that it is somewhere on the Moon or under a great ocean. In any case it is a subject of great speculation.

However, the Lupus Invicti quarters that you will be inhabiting consists of a large, black group of buildings in Russia, the nation where the organization was born. On the inside, the buildings are actually rather cozy; they consist mainly of offices on the first floors where the high-ranking executives and leaders work and discuss several matters. Heading to the higher floors you come across the rooms of the Assassins themselves; quite spacey, each room is shared by three members of the same age vicinity and gender, and for each floor there is a main room with sources of entertainment such as televisions, videogames, magazines, and even a few computers.

Not even Assassins can avoid attending class. All members under the age of eighteen regularly go to classes from 8 AM to 3 PM when they are not on a mission. However, their learning is divided into two large categories: the first half of the day is a mix of Language, History, Arithmetic and Science, while the second half is what you could call the Physical Education of the Lupus Invicti, or more accurately, the Assassin´s Education. It keeps the members both physically fit and trains them in many ways to prepare them for real missions, as well as orally demonstrate various strategies for assassination and everything you need to know to silence a human being in the shortest and least messy way.

Recruitment is fairly simple; villages that the Lupus Invicti is completely affiliated with are known as Fountains, and for each nation that the organization has entered, there is a Village of Assassins; a central town where all children that are be recruited gather before being let into the organization. This way the movement of children seems less suspicious, and doubts or questions are not raised.

There is Crystal Blood contained in a secret chamber within each quarters of the Lupus Invicti, and the source of it is believed to be in the HQ, naturally. Nobody knows the exact location of the Crystal Blood; when they are led to it, the adjacent rooms are usually pitch-black and only the experienced leader that guides them knows the way.

For travel, the group that will be going to a country to complete a mission poses as an average congregation of tourists, with false names, VISAs, and everything else required, then takes a normal method of transportation like everyone else does. Weapons and other things that would usually not go through your average Customs are taken care of under the table, by members of the organization working at most airports.

Finally, the uniforms of the Lupus Invicti. For males they consist of dark blue, long-sleeved shirts under sleeves, zip-up black vests. The pants are black as well, and they wear hardy but flexible boots and gloves that are designed to make no sound on any kind of surface. For certain missions they will be granted additional wear; a black mask with dot-like white see-through eyes and a wide, smiling face, as well as a draping, long coat that can be disposed of when necessary.

For females, uniforms are largely the same, but with important differences. The shirts are dark blue as well, but are short-sleeved. Where they end, begin long, black gloves that go up to the elbow. They have silver nails at the ends that serve as slashing claws and can be retracted. Over the shirt they also have a black sleevess vest, but it is not zipped-up and ends halfway down the belly. They wear a dark blue skirt with a silver zipper around the edge, meaning that it can be connected to a longer skirt that conceals the feet. Like males they wear black pants and boots.

Sign Ups

As explained in the plot, you have been recruited by the Lupus Invicti a relatively short time ago. When the RPG begins you will not have your special powers yet, but instead be taken to a couple training missions that will test your various skills, then obtain your power and go to America to complete your mission. Everyone who signs up will be part of the same team going to the US, and will be guided by a team leader--an NPC that I will introduce once the RPG starts.

Name: It should, of course, make sense with where you come from.
Codename: This is something that I will give you once you are approved, based on your powers and other characteristics. Most organization members will refer to you by your codename, unless they know you personally. Thus, don´t actually include Codename in your sign-up sheet.
Gender: Yay, a part of the sign-up that takes no effort.
Age: 14-19. Anyone younger is in training, and anyone older is a teacher or leader.
Home Nation: The Lupus Invicti generally gets members from Europe and Asia. However, you can also make your character come from another continent, as long as you provide a good explanation for it in your Background.
Physical Description: How your character looks physically. The uniforms used during missions and training are described on the last two paragraphs of The Lupus Invicti: An Insight, but you should also describe what does your character wear on a normal day.
Personality: Now, if you´re good enough to get into this I shouldn´t have to say anything about this section to you.
Special Ability: The special ability that you will obtain once you are exposed to the Crystal Blood. Everyone who is exposed to the Crystal Blood already becomes superhuman: they can jump higher, drop three stories and be unscathed as long as they land correctly, and run somewhat faster than the average human. But, aside from these things, you should have one special ability or power.
Modus Operandi: The general strategy that your character uses to take targets out, using your powers to your advantage. You don´t always take the same weapons to missions, but rather pick them up in the beginning. Here, you should also describe what kind of weapons you prefer to use. They can be as extravagant as you want, but nothing that could not exist in the real world. Furthermore, you can´t carry too many weapons or you´ll trip over yourself, and as of now only bring either two small firearms (handguns, revolvers) or one large firearm (shotgun, hunting rifle).
Background: Why did you join the Lupus Invicti? Were you forced? What were your first impressions? Is your character accustomed to the place, or does he/she secretly want out?
RPG Sample: An example of how you RPG, redundancy yay. It can be a training session, entering the Lupus Invicti, a memory of your hometown before this life, or anything you want. If you think you have good enough RPG skills and I am conscious of them, then you can skip this part, but that´s up to you.

Wow, you´re still with me? Wow. Here´s my sign-up:

Name: Aaron Mycenia
Codename: Delphos--friends refer to him as ´Delphi´
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Home Nation: Greece
Physical Description: Aaron is rather short, even being one of the youngest Assassins. He has ebony black, wavy hair that falls down to about his neck and dark eyes to match it. Like many who live under the soft sun of Greece, Aaron has lightly tanned skin. He has a lithe and slightly frail frame, but moderately toned due to required Lupus Invicti training. On normal days, Aaron wears light clothing as he isn´t used to the idea of cold days; unluckily, this often backfires against him in a place as cold as he is currently.
Personality: Really, you would never expect Aaron to be an Assassin. He is, generally speaking, quite a kind person willing to do favors or carry out errands for others without hesitations or complaints, as long as he is in a good mood himself. On the same note, however, he has no complaints regarding assassinations as long as he believes that the person he is killing deserves to be killed, or must be in order for a greater good to be achieved. This is, of course, something that the Lupus Invicti is always sure to convince him about. While Aaron is an efficient Assassin in almost every situation, he refuses to kill an animal; he is actually a big animal lover, and the rule that prohibits pets in Lupus Invicti greatly disheartens him for that very reason. He also enjoys the usual activities of an average teenager, such as television, videogames and generally being lazy.
Special Ability: Aaron has the capability of controlling the flow of all liquids; for example, he can make water flowing out of a sink to move upwards like a fountain, or reverse the flow of blood inside of a person. He cannot, however, do anything to a glass of water. His control is only over liquids that are already in movement.
Modus Operandi: Aaron is the medic of the group. He knows and understands all kinds of surgical procedures and can easily carry out an operation out in the open, although he admits that it might be rather painful for the patient. Futhermore, he doesn´t cringe at the sight of abundant blood or splattered grey matter, making him a highly effective surgeon and handyman in the battlefield.
This surgical knowledge, however, works both ways. Thanks to this knowledge Aaron also knows the most vulnerable parts in the human body and can effortlessly cut them up before their opponents know what hit them, as long as he is in the close range. Coupled with his ability, this makes Aaron a mainly up-close fighter able to knock opponents unconscious or simply kill them by controlling their blood flow, but he generally doesn´t use firearms since his accuracy is rather lackluster when compared to his other classmates. Thus, he concentrates on healing the hurt and only fights if it is completely necessary.
Regarding weapons, Aaron always carries a black box strapped to his lower back. It contains everything required for a surgical procedure: knives, gauze, thread, anesthetics and other chemicals--everything sterilized, obviously. For actual battle Aaron also likes to carry spare hunting or throwing knives to hit enemies with or simply cut them up. He rarely employs the use of guns.
Background: The village where Aaron originated was actually quite successful at one point--that was until Chernobyl, the German nuclear plant, had a meltdown in 1986. The resulting plume of radioactive falldown traveled all across Europe, and even managed to reach Greece. The small village that Aaron inhabited was full of agricultors who made a living out of selling fruits and vegetables. When their crops were deemed unsafe for consumption due to the radioactive clouds that descended upon the village and its surroundings, everyone suddenly plunged into poverty. The effects, however, were even more grim than that; the inhabitants were forced to eat their own fruit as importing any was economically impossible; this resulted in outbreaks of cancer, deformed babies and numerous other side-effects due the contaminated food.
The Mycenia family, however, previously an obscure bunch of doctors, was unaffected by Chernobyl´s legacy. The father, who was in good health no matter what he ate, thus used this apparent immunity that he had been lucky enough to possess and eventually became the village´s medic; his son also demonstrated a profficiency for this, and helped him with all kinds of medical procedures even when he was a child.
However, only so much can be done by one man, and by the time that the village´s fruits were declared safe again, the people had become so poor that it would take decades for the situation to even begin to recover. As always, that was when Lupus Invicti entered the scene. Passively and persuasively, they managed to convince the villagers that this was the only salvation, and the response was so overwhelming that what had once been a simple agricultural village became the Greek Village of Assassins. His parents, conscious of his vast potential in medicine, sent him to the Lupus Invicti in order to help in the relief and emergency treatment obviously needed in a guild of Assassins. And, like that, Aaron found himself in the depths of the dark organization.

Sonozaki Maya

...Cool, I can't miss out on something that involves a place near where I live IRL.

Name: 天下 夏芽 [Tenka Natsume, last name/first name]
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Home Nation: I'm pretty sure you can figure this out - Japan
Physical Description: Natsume is averagely built at a height of, approximately 5 foot 9, just around 6 foot but not quite. His height doesn't really matter that much to him anyway. His hair is around shoulder-length and is a natural black, whereas his eyes are a simple, but blank, dark brown. His complexion is quite fair, but that's nothing to brag about. Now, apart from wearing the standard issue uniform, on some normal casual days, he normally wears a plain black t-shirt accompanied with a simple pair of khaki trousers along with a black studded belt that lags lopsided to one side. His footwear is just a pair of normal trainers.
Personality: Natsume can be easily described in one word: strange. His personality is very hard to derive from his actions because he can be doing so many different things in such a short time frame. He can act cold and give you the silent treatment one moment and another moment spring around being all talkative and cheerful. But there is one way to describe his very complex mentality. And that is that he only associates with those he thinks he can trust. And those he already does trust. It's a very simple concept that many might find difficult to grasp. Simply, Natsume refuses to talk to anyone who he doesn't feel is trustworthy enough to hang around with. This tends to annoy some people, but then again, what could you do about it?
Special Ability: Natsume's feet and anything that is enclosed around it (read: shoes) treat any liqueous substance in such a way that the particles within it feel like they are clustered and as such water turns from an aqueous subtance to a solid one. This means Natsume is able to walk on water. Or lava. Or swamp.
Modus Operandi: As from his power, the most suited terrain for Natsume to take out his targets is near water, since he can pretty much treat it like ground. He is able to take rivers and streams, no matter how deep they may be, to any shortcuts that lead to the target quickly. He likes to take a relatively stealthy approach to things, often using a silencer coupled with a semi-auto pistol as well as an extra side-arm in case ammo runs out. He often aims for the head, but sometimes aims in "other places" if shooting at the head is often impossible (read: helmets, face-guards, etc.)
Background: First thing's first - Natsume is able to speak English quite decently because he has an English-speaking mother. And of course, Natsume was taught this language apart from his native tongue. His family were relatively middle-class and with their earn could rise to high-class so they really didn't have much to worry about. Natsume was clever in school and quite athletic. So you could obviously imagine the consequences of that. Via espionage tactics he was sought out and pretty much forced to go despite protests. You also might imagine that he was taken under a low profile and the only message was "A long trip". In any case, he became quite rebellious during the first week of entry but after that managed to settle in well after the realization that many other people like him were taken here, either by force or voluntarily. Natsume thought that maybe he could get used to place here and perhaps even... like it. He still hasn't found out the true motives for being taken here.

RPG Sample:
Natsume was musing about what is was like back in the day, living in the comforts of his own home and hanging around with his friends at a relatively normal school, living a relatively normal life. His parents were caring, they earned a lot, and he wasn't spoiled. He managed to live a healthy life. That was, until he was taken to Lupus Invicti; an organization of silencers, the gathering, no, the guild of assasins. He had no idea what he was getting himself into nor did he know the true purpose of his being here, in a place where people at a young age are trained to become elite killers, a place where these people become different, and become thrust into a world full of deception and corruption, in order to silence the source. Natsume did not understand it at all. Nor did he have a particular desire to. All he wanted was to be able to get accustomed and yet still maintain a normal, relatively fine mentality and not become a cold-blooded, mindless killing machine only bent on slaying. Natsume continued to stand against the wall idly, thinking about these things. It only served to strengthen his willpower, and it was something that he was willing to try, no matter how risky or how farfetched it seemed. After all, he was already here, wasn't he?

The Admiral

the star of the masquerade
You know my RP skills already <_<;

Name: Yäcob (Generally written "Jacob") Jonas (Last name presumed)
Codename:
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Home Nation: Netherlands (Europe, durr.)
Physical Description: Yäcob looks sort of like an average teenager... Whatever that means. Dirty-blond, long, sort of messy hair. He had a habit of keeping it under his hat outside of Lupus Invicti, so even though he's always under cover as a member of Lupus Invicti, nobody would have a chance of knowing it was him. Anyhow... He also has green eyes and is about... six feet tall. Normally, he wears all-black clothing, a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, black shoes, and a black jacket. He also wore a black hat similar to that in the stereotypical anime schoolgirl uniform; he was often bullied for this.
Personality: Yäcob is cold, calculating, and focused, often described as heartless. A ruthless killer, he learned his skill from his father, a businessman, and applied the learned skill to his assassinations - ruthlessly, screwing over all opposition in an attempt to gain an advantage, any advantage at all. He only ever opened his heart to one person, whom he presumed dead later.
Special Ability: Enhanced senses, noticeably vision; enhanced agilty. Neither is enhanced by a large amount, so yeah.
Modus Operandi: As stated, Yäcob is a ruthless killer. Takes no prisoners, no way to negotiate with him. If he's caught by a guard, he kills them flat-out and hides behind something. His preferred weapon is a handheld machine gun or a pistol and a revolver.
Background: Yäcob was forced into Lupus Invicti after his parents were killed by Lupus Invicti agents, in his home town. He's grown rather attached to it and has found himself enjoying himself. He had fairly good first impressions of the place and thought he would enjoy it. He'd certainly enjoy it more than life with his parents.
Other: His motto is "One who does not take his chances, is not living his life to the fullest."
-A quick note on the name: Yäcob Jonas was born to his two parents who were living in America for a while and had become citizens. The immigration man was stoned at the time - the family's last name was originally "van Hälen" and it was translated by the stoned immigration man to "Jonas," hence the last name.
RPG Sample:
Yäcob looked around at the burning buildings. He'd been left in the streets after Lupus Invicti had killed his parents. His abusive parents. Finally, they were gone. The skies were bright red, as if the sun had been setting, but it was only 1106 hours. He knelt down. "I hope..." he started before he received a hit on the head.

Two Lupus Invicti agents looked down at him. "Jonas... Yäcob..." started one. The other one looked at a small computer and nodded. "We can't afford to pass him up," he said.

Yäcob's life all seemed to flash before his very eyes. He remembered all the horrors of his 19 years. All the abuse, the violence, the bloodshed, the rape... He was judged by his hat and beaten up in the streets. He was sexually assaulted at the age of 11. His parents abused him... Suddenly, he woke up in a strange room. His green eyes shot about madly in a poor attempt to bring him to terms with the surroundings he had been in. It was nothing like anywhere he'd ever been... It bordered on unearthly. It was like a... prison cell but without bars. As he began to stir, a voice came on over a loudspeaker. "Jonas Y 89724," it spoke.

Yäcob observed his uniform. The number 89724 was written on a white shirt - he was wearing a plain white prison uniform, and his hat had been removed. His hair had been painstakingly straightened. "Jonas Y 89724!" the man at the loudspeaker barked.

"Speaking," Yäcob said, wary of what was going on, and being sure to be careful of what he said. He didn't know where he was. He could be anywhere? A military base seemed likely - either that or a penetentiary building.

"Come this way," he said, and the door opened.

[--END SIGN UP--]

-How's that, then?

*~Friends/Rivals~*
Name: Haizea Aintza (Translated from Basque, Wind Glorious)

Codename: Fa´atiu

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Home Nation: France, despite her fully Basque name.

Physical Description: Haizea stands at an average height with weight. She is quite pleased with her body since it has turnied out nice and slim to her liking. Her eyes shine a bright green that shows her energy and her pale blonde hair is oddly tied up in four, short, fluffy ponytails. Haizea calls it being unique compared to all her classmates. Haizea also has a thing with wearing white, black and grey clothes. She mainly wears a plain top of any of those three shades and black jeans. She also wears a black choker necklace with the Yin Yang symbol, believing it gives her good luck.

Personality: Haizea strives to become unique. She loves being different, being the odd one out. And since she isn't afraid of following suit, she is widely respected around her school. Haizea can be a bit sarcastic and quick witted, but she deeply cares for her parents and anyone else she is close to, which is no one really. Haizea is pretty independant and self reliant since her parents are rarely around. They are at work most of the time since they want to have heaps of money for the future. Haizea understands their thirst for money, but she doesn't possess this thirst. To sum her up, Haizea is independant, calm, and can't resist the odd sarcastic comment or joke.

Special Ability: Haizea comes extremely close to abusing her ability and has to often restrain herself. Her ability is that she can blow things away with her mind, like a knockback.

Modus Operandi: Haizea likes to corner her prey and then blast them with a knockback. It's as simple as that. She prevents her prey's escape and does her thing. And if she can't do that, she just attacks them with everything she's got.

Background: Haizea wasn't exactly forced to join the Lupis Invicti. Curiosity drove her to it. Her parents don't mind since they encourage it. Haizea's first impressions of the people were rather mixed, since her English wasn't too good. French was her first language but she knows the basics of English. She found the people around her a bit confusing for the first two days but she then found it easier now and her English has improved. Haizea still prefers to be independant but will go on missions with others. Despite her independance, Haizea can have the occasional outburst of something random in French. No one knows the translation really. Haizea enjoys her time at Lupis Invicti and doesn't reggret ever coming.

RPG Sample:
Haizea was listening to her MP3 during her class. In Paris, France. Her teacher didn't mind since he believed that music helped the children.... as long as they paid attention, which Haizea was doing. The song was called Wind, a song that she felt suited her. Haizea did mean Wind afterall. As Haizea wrote down some maths notes she hung on a line that was being repeated.
"'Cause you will hate yourself in the end."
Haizea started to chew on the end of her pencil as she looked at a Squirrel climbing up a tree.

Haizea woke up from her dream. She didn't know why she had similar dreams but she didn't mind it really. She got to see how her life could be in alternate reality.
It's always about my life if I hadn't of joined Lupic Invicti, Haizea reflected as she looked at her digital alarm clock.
"6:27," Haizea read out loud as she sat up, then she fell back down on her back almost instantly. She was still tired from her previous mission and she didn't even bother to remember what it was.
"Are you awake Haizea?" a girl asked Haizea. From what Haizea had figured out. the girl's name was Lucille. But everyone called her Luce for reasons Haizea never bothered to figure out. Either way, Haizea didn't like calling people by their nicknames.
"Oui," Haizea answered simply. She knew perfectly well how to say yes, but she couldn't be bothered. She didn't actually need to, since Luce had learned the basics of French, being from Sussex in England.
"Hey," Luce started to say, making sure to pace her words for Haizea, "do you want a quick sparr match before breakfast. We could do it without waking them up." Luce pointed to their two roomates.
Haizea thought for a moment as she tried to translate this in her head. Luce had said something about a sparring match without waking their roomates up. That was what Haizea had gathered.
"Aimez-vous Piers?" Haizea asked cheekily. She knew very well Luce had know what she had said. Haizea asked Luce if she liked Piers, and everyone knew Luce had a major crush on him despite all her denial of something.
"Of--of course I don't," Luce said defensively, while pouting. Haizea grinned.
"Of course you don't," Haizea said with extra sarcasm in English. Haizea continued to lay in bed, talking with Luce. But Haizea's mind was still replaying her dream. Her life in alternate reality.

Lady Myuu's Opposite
Name: Ketten Keisathlen
Codename: Bi Fang
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Home Nation: Finland, northern part.

Physical Description: Ketten is thin and nimble, but no skinny that it attracts looks. On normal days, Ketten wears thin and rather chilly, for others, clothes, consisting of a pair of long, thin grey pants and a sleeveless shirt in the same colour and fabric. When out of uniform, he also wear a pair of fingerless white gloves and a pair of sneakers. He has short brown hair and blue eyes, but he always use lenses (weak sight on left eye), so they tend to look otherwise. He has a strangely lazy look on his face, like he is about to fall asleep.

Personality: Ketten is a smiling and strangely observant boy, who always seems to not pay attention, but still come up with interesting details. He has an excellent memory and is a quick learner. He has "nimble fingers" and some victims die with a bit less money than they lived with some minutes ago. This tends to get him in trouble sometimes, but he usually manages to sneak out of it. Coming from the coldest part of Finland, he has excellent cold-defence and actually finds it a bit hot if not over the 68th grade north. Therefore the clothes.

Special Ability: Complete invulnearability to temperature, both heat and cold. Will still be damaged if he falls in a volcano, yes, but will feel nothing of the heat until he's actually in the lava.
Modus Operandi: Inducing sleep (either with a sleeping-dart gun or heavy sleeping powder) and then cut them in all vital areas (hearth, throath and lungs). Uses a heavy, but foldable knife which easily holds poison on the blade and aforementioned sleeping-dart gun.

Background: Ketten joined the Lupus Invicti because of two things; boredom and his talent to steal. Raised in the cold north of 69th grade north, he was almost isolated, knowing little of the world. His parents, who seemingly had gone mad in the cold, refused to let him leave the village so he was stuck there. Some years later, he ran away and found himself in Russia, knowing nothing of where to go next. Hearing a faint rumour of the Lupus Invicti, he joined, seeing that it seemed the most reasonable thing to do. Has no intentions to leave, as it seems he is getting good at killing.

RPG Sample:

Ketten absent-mindedly flipped through the pages in the book he had been instructed to read. Spanish. Since it always was a good thing to pretend to be from a different country to not raise suspicioun, languages had to be learned perfectly, with different dialects and pronounciations to the max. "Si senora, il baño is el full of blood..." Ketten muttered. Southern European was hard. But neccesary, he corrected himself. He would be an assassin, some day. And he would be one of the most important people in the world, without others knowing it. In the Lupus Invicti, they could change the world if they wanted. But one hindrance blocked his way to it. Ketten sighed. Spanish. He picked up the book again and begun from start again.

Not done yet, will finish it later. Is that okay?

Deathspector

<-- Blastoise O.o
Name: Renier janse van Rensburg

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Home Nation: Pretoria, South Africa

Physical Description: Renier, for all his manly ways, looks like a stick. His limbs are slight, and extremely weak, as doing physical work, is not his thing.. He is a bit taller than he should be for his age and weight, but nothing drastic. In fact, if you looked at him the first time, he would seem like a normal teenager. His hair is raven-black in colour, and rather silky. His late mother would want him to cut it, but he enjoys the feeling of his hair on the back of his neck, though it is not longer than that. Lupus Invicti made sure of that. His eyes are a startling blue colour, that seem to glow in the darkest of places. When he smiles, even the higher Lupus Invicti officials back off, because he can smile in such away, that coupled with his pale skin, and long hair, give people the impression of a vampire. Of course, he's nothing of the sort. Renier has a thing for black. He loves the Lupus Invicti uniform, and when he is not wearing that, he is wearing something black. Either a pair of black joggers and a black tee-shirt, of a black shirt, and black pants.

Personality: Renier is a schemer. A mastermind and plotter behind dastardly actions. His brainpower has not been matched, since the days of Motzart. Several psychiatrists (sp?) have tried to outsmart him in a debating contest, and were sent back, babbling incoherently to their own clinics. Even when he was living with his family, his father would ask him advice about what to do at his next business proposal, and Renier was onlythirteen at that time. Usually his answers would result in a promotion for his father. But, in all his intelligence, Renier has no sense of communication. Sure, there is hardly anybody his age who has a vocabulary like his, but, to put it in easy terms, he cannot talk nicely. Even when he doesn't mean to, he can cause youg people to run away from him, crying by his use of sarcasm, and long and complicated words. Sometimes, even his teacher did not understand him, and had to consult a dictionary to see what Renier was saying. It was something that his mother had been trying desperately to teach him, before that fateful day...

Special Ability: Like I mentioned earlier, Renier is a plotter. When sent out on missions, he is always the one to think up the plan, not execute it. He has the ability, to hypothesize a situation, and then come up with a fitting answer to it. While it may not seem much of a special ability, without this skill of his, the plan made by somebody else is likely to fail. That's why Lupus Invicti sends him on missions: to do the planning, while the rest do the executing.

Modus Operandi: Renier doesn't like weapons, so he merely carries on revolver. As I stated twice before, he does not fight, but plans. Yet, when he is forced to fight, ambush is his way of dealing with people. Because i his thin size, he is able to slip between things other "fatter" people cannot, so he hides there, and waits for his "prey" to come to him.

Background: Renier grew up, living his life like a normal boy genius would, showing off his intelligence, in his hometown, Pretoria. But then, his family was struck by some sort of curse of sorts. His mother passed away during a car accident on the way home from her work. Her small sedan was crumpled by a truck. There was no way she survived that. Mere months later, his sister was subject to rape, and was then sentenced for prostitution, despite the fact that she was the victim. She is now in jail. His father, the only other source of income for his family, suddenly lost his job, and was thrown out on the streets. With no way to pay for his son's education, he had committed suicide. His grandmother, the only remaining member of his family then died from a heart attack. Renier was then thrown out onto the streets. But his brain had neevr let him down, yet. He used his intelligence to search for somewhere where his talents would be appreciated. It didn't take him long, though, because he heard about Lupus Invicti. He didn't know how to call for them, as they left no phone numbers, or anything. But an undercover official found him asking questions to the public about Lupus Invicti. He was offered a position in Lupus Invicti, which he quickly accepted. When he first saw the Lupus Invicti building, he had high hopes about it, and still does...

RPG Sample:

Renier looked around at the thronging city of Pretoria. It was an amazing city, and he felt sorry that he was going to leave it. What made it most appealing to our young boy genius, was the fact that it had everything that a normal city in a first world country would have, but was also as cheap as a third world country should be. The combination of these made Pretoria one of Renier's fabourite cities. It was possibly the last time he would set foot in South Africa again. He was headed to Russia, to the Moscow Airport, where the Lupus Invicti officials would pick him up, and take him to headquarters to be tested. This was what he had been longing for all his life. A place where his brains would actually be useful. Renier had been to Moscow only once before, whn his father had to go there on a business trip. And there was only one thing he remembered about it.

It was cold.

Sure, Pretoria got cold once in a while, and it had snowed in Cape Town last winter, but it never snowed continuously. Renier was pleased, that at least he didn't have to go as far north a Nor'silk, which was in the Artic circle. Even in summer he would be bundled up in winter-wear, and one could only pack so much. He looked at his suitcase which was on the seat next to him in the taxi on the way to the airport. It contained all that he could smuggle out of his old house before the new tenants moved in. It was't much, but it would have to do. At least Lupus Invicti had promissed him a nice place to stay. He had been looking forward to not going to school, but at the Lupus Invicti quarters, he would need to. He didn't like school, but not for the normal reasons. He didn't like school because everything taught there, he already knew, and more than that. By his third grade, he had begun to doubt Einstein's theories, something that even his teacher at that time didn't understand. But he smiled. There was one good thing about moving to a new school.

New teacher's to terrorize.

He was looking forward to that

Polyphonica Trance: Glad to know you´re joining. You´re Approved--I like your special ability. Your codename is Inri.

∆Prime Mover∆: It´s quite good. Reference overload, too. Anyways, Approved. Your codename is Abraxas.

Bandana: Nicely done, although you may want to include what kind of weapons does Haizea normally use. It also makes me wonder how come her parents encourage her being in the Lupus Invicti, but I can see it happening. Still, Approved. Your codename is Fa´atiu.

Lemurian: So far there is nothing wrong with your sign-up. Once you add your RPG sample, you´ll certainly be approved. Your codename will be Bi Fang.

Deathspector: A schemer should certainly come in handy; I´m glad we´re getting a wide variety of characters, although you don´t just "bump" into the Lupus Invicti. Also, the RPG sample has to be a fresh piece. You´ll be Approved once that happens, and your Codename shall be Faustus.

Kairi: Sure, I´ll be glad to save you a spot.

Kev Chi: You have a reservation as well.

I´ll add my own sign-up later today, so watch out for that. Or...not. Anyways.

Kev Chi

Guardian
Name: Chi Long

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Hometown: Luoyang, China

Description: Chi looks like your average Joe Shmo. Always having an intrest in sports, he is pretty well built. Standing at about 6'0'' and weighting in at about 155 lbs, like said before, he looks like any other 19 year old. He has dark black hair, going down to the top of his ears, he also has jade color eyes.

Chi is a big fan of loose cholthes while not wearing the Lupus Invicti uniform. Some of his favorites are cargo shorts and either a normal t-shrit or a sleeveless shirt. He has several tattoes on himself. On his back, he has the chinese symbols for the elements on each corner of his back, each in their respective colors. The symbol for tranquilty is in the middle of his back, while the symbol for love is on the left side of his chest and strenght is on the right side. Last, he has the symbols of courage on the left and wisdom on the right arms, at the top where the arm meets the shoulder.

Personality: Chi is one happy-go-lucky guy. He always seem to be happy most of the time, but that doesn't mean he can't be depressed or serious every now and then too. Going along with his happiness, he is also quite sarcastic. He is also a caring person, always looking out for his friends, the "take a bullet" type of person. If let's say one of his friends were to get captured, he would try to rescue them first and, if that didn't work, switch places with them to allow the friend to escape. Also tends to use strategy in his missions and an expert in night missions.

Special Ability: One of the reasons he is such a expert in night mission: Night Vision. Once he gets his power, his eyes will be like they have night vison goggles built into them. A small side effect to this is when sunset or sunrise happens, his eyes become a bit burly due to his eyes trying to shift from normal vision to night vision.

Modus Operandi: Chi strongly dislikes the use of guns, feeling that they're "cheap", seeing how all you need to do is pull a trigger and boom...someone's dead. This is why he kills always up close to the person. He is best with either a dagger or knife of any kind, usually on the small side. He is the silent killer, using sneaking up on someone and cutting their throut, or covering their mouth and then stabbing them, just so no one will hear the kill.

Background: China, one of the last remaining Communist countries. For Chi, life wasn't excalty easy, seeing how communism prevented anyone from becoming rich. Chi lived a life going between working in the factories and going to school as a young kid to up until he grauated from high school, usually working with his parnets when he was in the factories. After high school, Chi tried to make it out on his own, but failed horribly. Upon walking out of his apartment with his suitcases, a Lupus Invicti man asked him about his luck, and asked him to join.

RPG Sample: Chi, coming down the apartment stairs, turned to see the landlord of the apartments.

"I'm sorry Chi. Your a good kid, but money is money, you know?" commented the lord.

Chi laughed to himself and smiled. "Its ok. Apartments are expenisve nowdays anyways. Maybe it was the best thing for me to move out on my own so quick. I'll just have to go back to my parnets house and live there for now."

Chi said goodbye to the landlord and walked out the door, coming out onto the busy streets of Luoyang. Carrying his suitcases in both hands, Chi started to walk away when a man stopped him.

"You look like your down on your luck.." the man asked.

"Yea. I tried living out on my own but I don't have enough money to make it, so I'm moving back to my parnets house." Chi replied.

"Perhaps I can help you with that..." the man informed Chi with a smirk.

I hope that will do, otherwise, I can add more to it.

Mmmm... something I can really sink my teeth into. *let's forthe a soft and sadistic cackle* Yes this will be most enjoyable.

Name: демон ангел (Not so much his name as what he was found mumbling… The words translate as Demon and Angel respectively. So long as he realizes he’s being spoken to though, he’ll respond to just about anything.)

Codename:

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Home Nation: Russia

Physical Description: демон, while possessing what most would consider an ideal (if not small framed) body, is deceptively adept at blending in, making him an ideal assassin for public areas. He can blend into most any surrounding and could only truly be picked out from three tell-tale features; his height of 6’3”, his matted hair that has a color akin to mulch, and his eyes, which are green, with flecks of ocean blue yet have no shine to them, no substance… as if he hollow and dead on the inside.

If not readily given or told to wear an outfit he just as soon wears nothing mainly because it doesn’t occur to him to dress most of the time. This in turn, reveals multiple scars inflicted on him from training to endure torture.

Personality: демон is like a blank slate personality wise. He almost never shows emotions, he never really disagrees with anything, just always does what he is told. This has made him an object of affection/lust (emphasis on the term object) to various staff members, male and female alike. While most would say this makes him like an obedient dog, in reality, he is more like the Golem of Prague… having life, but no soul… making any who would possess him at a given moment (within the organization) his master, which he does the bidding of. Obviously he has lost some humanizing characteristics like shame and remorse, but in the end this helps to further his ability as a killer as there is nothing he can consider too shameful or unforgivable. However… there is also a dark(er), violent side to him, one that has the chance of making him a liability. If he is exposed to certain stimuli he is prone to go into a rage and can at that point only be sedated or killed as it is quite mindless.

Stimulus that tend to set him off immediately are people too close to fire or being burned alive; the concept of zombies, whether in literature or some other mode of media; and highly religious Christian symbols… though nothing so simple as a cross will do it… an image of the crucifixion will. He also has an aversion to knives of any sort and cannot handle them without breaking into uncontrollable sobbing.

Special Ability: Doll: To put it as simply as possible демон possesses someone, and from a psychological standpoint make them an empty shell, or control them physically, gain access to their memories, etc. The only downside to this ability is the simple fact his real body becomes like a rag doll, going into a state similar to suspended animation. He grows cold as a corpse and loses a pulse, making him easily mistakable as dead… and while he loses the need for his body to breath, if he is killed in some other way, both he and his host will die; if the host dies however, he is simply slingshot back into his own body. There is also a distance issue, making it so демон cannot take over someone unless he is within “breathing range” of them (in other words, if you were to measure out how far the average exhale traveled completely, that’s about how far he would need to be from someone to take over), however the distance at which he can return to his own body seems without any real limitation. Victims of this can also be made to have no memory of the events that transpire as he has complete access to their memories.

Modus Operandi: While mainly working in intelligence gathering and conspiracy murders (i.e. he takes over someone who has seemingly no ties to anyone and kills the target as that person), when демон does need to kill personally, he excels in two areas, hand to hand and precision sniping. Because of this, his preferred weapons are needle points coated in various poisons, a Desert Eagle 5.0, and/or the T.C.I. M89SR

Background: демон was found in a suburb of Minsk in a rundown church, at the age of six, with no guardian or parent about, mumbling the words that would eventually become his name. Seen as a prime opportunity for a new trainee, he was immediately taken and given care. Since he would not stop mumbling he was sent off for psychiatric evaluation where the best that could be made out from his ramblings was the cannibalism of his mother and father. The intelligence agency could find nothing of the boy or his parents, it seems his birth was never recorded and had only the child’s night terrors gave them any clue as to the life he was leading. After a number of years, they were finally able to piece together scenes of his life until, at eleven, he managed to repress all those memories and forgot his life up to that day, knowing only Lupus Invicti and recognizing them and its members as his masters. Since it was concluded this amnesia was chosen, there was nothing that could be done unless he chose to remember, but that was fine with the staff, as they essentially had un-molded clay, that only recognized them, to turn into what they saw fit… Still, for the sake of paper work, here is what is filed on the assumed prior history of демон.

Born to a catholic priest and a woman of inconsequential origin, obviously out of wed-lock… The father demanded the child never be known of less he lose his position in the church. Despite this outrageous demand, the mother seemingly agreed to it as we can find no record of birth and we cannot do comparative bloodtests for reasons which will be explained later… The subject grew up well enough it seems, though it may be he was just very attached to his parents and knew of little else. After the collapse though, it was decided the church would be closed down (this we found in official records) and hard times followed for them as with everyone else. At some point between the closure of the church and our finding the subject, it seems both his parents committed suicide, the father first, to feed his lover and child when they could ultimately find no food. We assume this to be the third of four initial trauma’s that seem to have broken “демон”. Finally, the mother killed herself, we believe out of grief and out of want for her son to live, though this is speculation and all we are sure of about her death are from the screams of our ward in the middle of the night. It seems that the mother beckoned over “демон” and gave him a knife, telling him to drive it through her throat and cook her for nourishment. When he refused, even for the food she would end up providing, she grasped the knife in his hands and drove it through her neck herself, telling her final words to him that she wanted him to survive despite it all. We assume this, combined with him then cooking an eating his mother to be the final trauma that completely broke him, and the reason why we cannot do comparative blood analysis to determine his family tree.

RPG Sample: I’ll edit one on a little later… typing this up took a good amount out of me.

Kev Chi: Nice job. You´re Approved, and your Codename is Metzli.

Lemurian: You´re still fine. As mentioned earlier, your Codename will be Bi Fang.

Masa Mune: Ohh, a dark and violent character with an original dark and violent past. Liking very much. Approved when your RPG sample comes around, and your Codename shall be Samael.

Well, we seem to be doing quite well. Once that Kairi signs up, we should be ready to start. I´ve also added my own sign-up to the original post now.

Defender of Justice
Name: Alex Vickers
Codename: ???
Gender: male
Age: 17
Home Nation: Scotland
Physical Description: Alex is tall and slender, with fairly handsome looks and long dark brown hair which falls across his left eye. His eyes are a vivid green, and are one of the key parts of his intimidation effect; he can silence anyone with a glance. When not in his standard uniform, he is most commonly seen wearing a sleeveless black tank top, and baggy navy-blue trousers, which he uses to conceal the ugly scar n his right knee, the memento of a training accident when he was 12. He also wears two belts in an "X" shape across his chest, which hold his long knives in place.
Personality: When not in a training session or on a mission, Alex is easy to talk to and get along with, utterly loyal to his friends/comrades and the organisation as a whole. His calming influence has diffused many a dangerous situation, yet his arrogance in his abilities sometimes gets him into trouble.
However, when he needs to focus on the task at hand, everyone and everything else becomes merely an annoyance, things to get in the way of his objective. Despite this, he remains utterly selfless should one of his comrades be in danger.
Special Ability: Alex's power is the ability to heal minor wounds almost instantly in battles; bruises, scrapes, cuts, bullet wounds etc. However, should he have a limb severed, his ability will fail to heal such an extreme wound.
Modus Operandi: Alex prefers to get up close and personal with his opponents, using the twin long knives strapped to his back to take out targets at close range. However, he is equally happy using twin handguns to get the job done from range.
Background: Alex has been with Lupus Invicti for over 7 years, following the deaths of his parents during a riot, of which he currently has little recolllection. Cornered by a group of thugs, he took out all four with a single dagger. Recognising the boy's potential, he was recruited by Lupus Invicti and has since become (so he thinks) one of their top students.
Over the years, Alex has proven himself time and again to Lupus Invicti, both in terms of ability and loyalty to his tutors. However, his failings - his arrogance, and preference to work alone - concern some of the teachers, who worry that Alex's flaws shall one day destroy him and/or all those around him.
Some teachers are more open of their concerns than others around Alex, and so have earned his deep resentment of what he sees as their disbelief in his abilties. As a result of this, should Alex's weaknesses ever consume him, these teachers should beware - because they shall be at the top of his revenge list...

RPG Sample: Knowing full well that his fellow students - not to mention the teachers - were watching his training exercise from the balcony above, Alex closed his eyes and tried to relax, listening to the piercing whine of the practice dummies as they were raised out of the floor on platforms, one on each side.

Having "battled" the fully animatronic dummies countless times before, Alex could easily picture his two opponents as, with a dull bang, the platforms locked into place in the floor. Each dummy had been specifically built to represent the human body, right down to the exact resistance of flesh and bone against assault. Their bodies were mostly a shiny chrome design, save for the key target areas; the head and chest, which were more commonly leather bags filled with coloured flour to represent blood. All training dummies bore standard handguns - rather like the two Alex had holstered at his waist - and, depending on the program built into their circuits, could have the accuracy of between a panicking civilian to a veteran marksman.

Abruptly, the short buzz which signalled the session's opening split the air, accompanied by the split-second reaction of the dummies as they aimed at Alex's chest. Within the guns, as dictated by the training exercise, were live bullets instead of blanks; any bullet that hit home could be fatal.

However, for all the dummies' speed, Alex had been faster. Even as they locked on, he had backflipped into the air, away from their bullets. Reaching over his shoulders, he unsheathed two long, gleaming knives from the belts crossing his back, and crossed both against the first dummy's neck, beheading it and removing one opponent from the fight.

Allowing himself to fall into a crouch, Alex turned on his heel and swung one of his blades into the second dummy's legs, pitching his opponent to the ground. Before it could recover, he span the second blade in his hand and rammed it into the dummy's chest.

The entire fight had lasted barely a few seconds. Sheathing the blades across his back, Alex bowed to the watching teachers and students, and left the arena.

squirtleking: You´re missing your RPG sample, obviously. But now moving on to the actual problems, you have a sizeable amount of spelling mistakes in your sign-up, and your background is rather short. Thus you need some tweaking before getting in.

((okay, for some reason it's not letting me edit... so I'll need to put my sample in a new post.))

Демон woke from a deep and dreamless sleep to a sterile (by way of objects and color) room… the same room he awoke in every morning… or was it night… it was all the same to him with no windows to filter in light and no clock to read. The only thing off this time was his bed… a slight impression was at his left side, and then he noticed a light on in the kitchen, which had not been on when he had fallen asleep.

Getting up to head there himself, he was soon met by a brunette woman of about 5’8” with soft red highlights and fair complexion looking to be in her mid twenties.
“Ah, I see you’re finally awake. I was just grabbing a bit to eat before heading out to the fields for training of some new recruits. I’d ask you to join me… maybe instill a bit of fear in the weaker ones… but I believe today you have your graduation ceremony.”
Демон simply nodded in acknowledgement, his cold dead eyes showing no emotional attachment to her or what had been said.

“After that, I understand they’ll finally take you to the Crystal Blood… well it’s certainly been a long time coming for you. You’ll at last get to truly join our ranks.”
She glanced down a moment at демон and smirked, “Hmm… no, I better not or we’ll both be very late; which reminds me…”
Walking over to a dresser she pulled out one of many uniforms, “As fun as it may be for some of us, make sure you wear this, okay?”

Демон actually spoke this time, “Of course Ma’am.”

Walking to the door she turned back again having recalled something. “I hear Mikael will be returning from a mission tonight, I’m sure he’d like to see you at some point this week; some of us were also thinking of holding a small celebration for you… perhaps he can meet up with you there, and we’re all going to want to hear what you can accomplish after your visit to the chamber. Sound good hun?”

The soulless eyes showing no response демон gave his standard, “As you wish.” At this she frowned a bit, but then shrugged it off with a soft chuckle.
“Have as good a day as you are capable of having демон… perhaps I’ll stop by again tonight.”

With that she left, and демон bowed to the closed door, it never really occurring to him that the gesture of respect would not be seen. With the company gone however, he was now left to getting ready, and after a brief shower and other hygiene rituals, he was soon dressed in his uniform and walking out the door himself… today he would finally join the rank of elite world assassins, he would finally be serving his masters properly.
