attacks in the anime

Don't you think some attacks in the anime work different?
For example, sandstorm should damage none rock-steel-ground pokemon every turn. But in the anime, sandstorm acts as a defensive move.
And reflect can be broken by an attack that isn't brick break.
What do you think?

Get this fact-GAMES=/=ANIME
BTW, animw sandstorm blows enemies away.

Actually in the anime, there are two variations of sandstorm.

The first is like a defense move to block attacks (most often seen by Steelix), and the second to blow away their enemys (like Solrock did in Ash's gym battle)

Yeah....the games and anime are different. -_- Always have been, always will be. The way things work in the anime are too complicated to incorparate into a game.

Although Pokemon with real-time battling would be kind of interesting....but I don't see how it would work.

And in double battles you can tell your pokemon to save your partner's pokemon,or block that attack.

Thank you, SPPf! :)
That would be wonderful...if the RPG's weren't turn-based.
