Well Rowlet will learn Featherdance which lowers an opponents attack power. That should depower Sky Attack quite a bit

Or it could just mean that the league is going to be longer then seven episodes, as while it's true that on average a league usually last only 7 episodes we've had had leagues that last 8 or 9 episodes before.

Let's hope, but I've learned not to get my hopes up thanks to Kalos.

The only League that lasted more than 7 episodes was the Sinnoh League which was 8. This is definitely going to be the longest League arc.
