I remember a toy set posted awhile ago that included Zapdos in it along with Zacian and Zamazenta plus other Pokémon I unfortunately can't recall.

They must have thought people would be delighted to see a little glimpse of Lucario in there. That was the most obvious thing possible.

We expected a little too much from this opening. It more or less gave us nothing.

What was so great about it from your perspective? Those Aerodactyl and Legendary Birds don't interest me much, I have a lot of them over the years. The fight scenes, if we can call them that, were more or less pointless to me. I have no interest in watching Go fight Ash.

The part where Farftech'd was riding on top of Dragonite was cool though.

The alola gang confirmed to be returning
Ash lucario and Goh's cinderace
Darkest day plot
all the legendaries
the new music and visuals were fire too
and i really liked the animation, but then again just my opinion. The opening exceeded my expectations entirely

+1 to this, I also loved the parts where Riolu and Farfetch'd were sparring, and the selfies with Leon, Raihan, Ash and Go. Really hope some scenes like that actually show up in the show. Between that and the spoilers this OP was actually pretty balanced between cute wholesome moments and genuine hype for the future. Really glad they didn't phone it in, even the song remix was better than I expected
