So what's going on with the series that rarely had fillers

EP23- Goh's Cascoon evolve
EP24-Goh catches Magikarp and Goldeen
EP26-First true filler of the series
EP29-32-Really, episodes that haven't even aired yet are filler, k then.

Nothing wrong with that, people have been doing that to the TRio and Ash for years. About time they see what it's like having a character hated for existing, and Go deserves every ounce of it he gets

I think this episode will be good. Maybe this will make Go a little more interesting. Also, maybe the reason they never found Celebi is because the one that rules the area was in the GS ball and Kirk finally cracked it open.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Also regardless of how you feel about Go’s captures at the end of the day because Go’s goal is to capture every Pokémon it means any where he catches or evolves a Pokémon is progressing his goal which means the episode isn’t filler.

Just because you don’t like a episode doesn’t make it filler. You can just say you don’t like an episode instead of purposely misusing the word filler.

Captures and evolution's always make an episode non filler because those pokemon will always appear in the future which means the episodes they first appeared or evolved in aren't stand alone episodes with no bearing.

Not to mention Goh uses Magikarp again two episodes later so that episode definitely isn't filler.

Hate Goh all you want but that doesn't make his episodes filler.

A filler episode is one where nothing happens, no moves are learned, no characters debut/return, no Pokemon is caught, no backstory occurs, no important battle happens, and the villain's plot doesn't in any way happen. Even if episodes like the bug catching episode are boring they aren't filler because a capture happened, no matter how dull. No, episodes where nothing but captures happen like the bug episode fall under the category of "stuff happened yet it feels like nothing was done."

See, that sounds like a fantastic idea for two reasons:

1) It gives us more variety in Pokeballs
2) Go can use different Pokeballs to have easier time catching specific Pokemon

However, Go hardly ever struggles with his captures so him getting Apricorn Balls seems almost pointless.

What if we give him the glitched versions?

Even considering his 99% catch rate he might be interested in other Poke Balls. Given his failure with Galarian Farfetch'd different Poke Balls could be a way to improve

Most of Goh's capture troubles don't come from using the standard Poke Ball itself rather than the Pokemon avoiding/throwing it back at him. Most Pokemon are instacaught the moment they're in the ball. If there's anything he needs, it's moes to slow them down (like he did with Oddish) or those berries in Pokemon GO.

Well they don't see said kid throw said Crtitical Captures all the time consistently. On the other hand, a talking Pokemon is almost unheard of to an non-protagonist. Can't blame them for being more interested in the latter, really.

Ash SHOULD be very impressed about the Critical Captures, but alas.

Critical captures only shake once before getting caught. Not sure how many of Goh's catches did that. He's actually just using re-skinned Quick Balls (with the rare Timer Ball if the Dewgong fiasco happens again).

One might have popped up at the Poke Ball factory episode in Kalos, but I think Meowth and Pikachu were the ones messing with those.
