Automated poll election, beneficial to a country?

Our country shall have an automated poll election. More people are agreeing to implement it. They say it is better, and provides fast results. There are so many positive statements about automated poll elections. Others even say that it limits cheating.

It prevents cheating? I don't think so. In automated poll elections, machines will be used. Of course, it is just a machine. And because of that, it isn't safe from human intervention like software attacks, glitches, and other technical problems that could result in wholesale electronic cheating. And, don't forget hacking. Fraudulent officials might turn the tables while we helpless people just watch and wait for their crooked results.

So, what do you think about it? Should automated poll elections be implemented?

Which country? Cause voting machines are already used in the U.S. in many places.

Honestly, I think our country really isn't ready for automated elections. You know those politicians: they can sabotage the election one way or another.

Machines can be hacked to rig elections, theres plenty of people who can hack. That and some of the politicains hire people to hack so they get more votes.

And its another excuse to be used if someone lost the election.

Honestly, putting it in a realistic view, whatever they do to make it "beneficial", they'll ALWAYS find a loophole of some sort to rig it. Yup, either manual or automated, if these politicians do not change their ways, there's a HUGE chance that the elections will be tampered.

In all honesty, it's just more efficient. If someone is going to rig the election, they will find a way, no matter how the election is being held.

this is why everyone hates elections, its always gonna be rigged/cheated in some way regardless the polaticians know it or not. and whoever wins is automattically a "big cheater" and there needs to be 4 re-counts before they say STFU
