How come some people have avatars that are not on the list?

You mean the mods? Mods get custom avatars, which mean they can upload one from thier computer.

Before you ask why can't members have custom avatars I will answer that question for you.Members can't have custom avatars because there are so many members at this forum and if everybody uploads their avatars the bandwidth wouldn't last.
