awakening kyogre

can anyone tell me how i get past the boulders in the undersea cavern in pokemon emerald? ;382; ;382; ;382; ;382; ;382; so kyogre can be awakened and i can get to sootopolis gym!

I just restarted my ruby and I just got passed that part ( rather easy)

Ever heard of the HMs Rock Smash and Strength? They're only ever handy in the field, so that may be why you've chosen not to teach them to your Pokemon.

he has to have them to get that far in the game.

you need rocksmash to get passed mauville.
