Looking to control the students isn't a good thing. You might know how to run this RPG but the way you say it seems like as though you're making this as a commodity moreso than a privelage. You might not be, but you might wanna start making it so at least you give the illusion of being a regular ole RPer. It's best to make teachers NPCs so that you can have your own character and show your ability by the inclusion of the teacher within your post in a sensible manner.

hmm...you have a good point...my inexperience as a RPer shows somtimes...how about this, i am not a newbie, but a trainer that has been at the academy for a while and is sort of a 'buddy' to the younger students that gives help etc. but still has a life...

that's fine, so long as you don't go overboard with the experience. make a well-rounded character =D

Another reason this is unappealing is (no offense to any of the RPers, especially those of you who have decent description - Kingdra and krackerjack) that there is a lack of grammar.

Look, the forementioned two have good description, but no one likes a wall of text. Also, although descriptions are provided at times, they're bland; it doesn't really matter about the _length_ of your posts, it's the _quality_ of them. I might have like a 1394081-3498 line post but it still doesn't change the fact that I have no punctuation or capitalization or variety in words (I'ma looking at you, krackerjack - basic words are good but go for more) will totally blow the fscking thing up.

EDIT: Another big thing is bunnying. Bunnying is the control of other characters. I hate bunnying, but I'd allow it if people stated they were given permission. Which you guys don't really do =x, but that's my opinion...

Was all that really necessary?... sorry if i'm a newbie to RPGing, but did you really have to point names out?... And about the bunnying thing (that you hate sooo much), i did have permission from krackerjack. I don't want to start a flame war, but you shouldn't call us out like that...
P.S: Sorry about my inactivity up to this point, but between one of the computers crashing, school, and baseball, i havn't been able to check the forums everyday... But i'm buying myself a laptop this weekend, so i'll be more active...

Indeed, teachers should be NPCs.

I also find the lack of grammar unappealing. I'm not the greatest RPer either but atleast I do my best to put proper punctuation...

one per person, unless they ask really really nicely to us and we feel as though they can have it...
they must also have pokemon that has reached the level of 15 before they can catcha shiny pokemon but they can be given a shiny pokemon in the beginning if they are reall lucky...

and another thing that I hate is people having the pokemon say there name.
That is so stupid in the rpg I dont want them to say there name instead lets have them grunt and caaw and cry and bark and stuff

well. maybe not for all pokemon, but say...for canine pokemon, they would growl and feline would purr...but human shaped pokemon pokemon may say their name because they don't have the 'animal instint' so to say, for the animal sounds.
just pu the right sound that fits the pokemon. for instance, i normally have a beautifly and the sounds she makes are high pitched 'Biiii' squeaks becuase i think Beautifly's (and other bugs for that matter) don't have the vocal system for saying their names

*LOL* I'm finally in the right thread! I think metagrossin fist (that's a mouth full) has a point and I agree, but I also have a question, for the psychic pokemonso they have to make sounds and stuff to? Or would they just say silent and communicate in the minds of people and pokemon alike?
