Battle for the Xega Region
History
The region of Xega is one of the several regions of pokemon that used to be a friendly and care free place. It was filled with great sceneries, monumental architecture and rich culture. This region is for some reason locked in a mystic fog that allows anything to come in but not to come out. It’s quite similar to the Bermuda triangle but nothing at all can get out but a great and powerful force. Unfortunately a devastating catastrophe is slowly drawing near. For the mighty sky high pokemon Rayquaza has finally given up hope with humans and decides to wash away the humans whom seem unworthy to live for him. He has decided to create Xega into his first island of pokemon. There he has chosen several trainers and pokemon to aid him in his cause. He has chosen a man who goes by the name of Lord Draco to lead the army and eradicate the unworthy.
Several trainers have noticed this and are now trying to stand up against Lord Draco and Rayquaza. Unfortunately the exact area where Lord Draco hides is up in the sky high in a place called the X zone. It’s another part of Xega which can be very dangerous. Several trainers have gone in there and have returned either injured or dead. The area Lord Draco rules is known as the Black Castle of Eternal Nightmares. Another unfortunate thing is that Xega has a small number of species of pokemon, meaning you won’t see very often something like a Bellsprout or Geodude often. To be exact there are about only a hundred and thirteen different kinds of species in Xega and Lord Draco’s army has captured almost the whole number of species. The pokemon were delivered by Rayquaza who had access to enter Xega. Soldiers of the X zone have the ability to teleport into Xega and back to the X zone.
Plot
Now that one of the only saviors of the world has turned against the world, it’s up to the two pokemon that Rayquaza frequently put to sleep. Groudon and Kyogre have risen once again to find worthy trainers from outside Xega to help the remaining trainers of Xega to fight against Rayquaza. Groudon has planted the trainers it has chosen with the symbol of strength and Kyogre has given its chosen trainers the symbol of nobility. You are either one of these several trainers or a Xega knight who have either symbol. You must find a way to get through this new landscape, while fighting through soldiers and generals of Lord Draco.
The Xega knights are a militarized union of Xega who are under the command of Captain Samantha. As a Xega Knight you will start all out as private cadets. The ranks are private cadets, rookie, major, captain, lieutenant and general. Each knight can go to the next level by doing a great job in the field (If you post something like you defeated a million soldiers by yourself I won’t promote you). You will be judged by not only your commander but also your fellow cadets. Two to Three of the cadets will be chosen for promotion. From the chosen candidates the knight who gets the most votes will be promoted. If there’s a tie they’ll both be promoted. I’ll be choosing who will be the candidates and be checking on each post (You can also score a few points to be chosen by the detail and length post, but those are just minor points. No matter how well described your post or how long it is, if your post is just about talking you’ll gain just very little points).
You will explore new cities, capture a few pokemon that might be necessary to your cause and learn a few things that Xega does that the other regions don’t actually do. The X zone is an area that cannot be easily reached because of several traps and magic Rayquaza has placed. Plus there is a secret portal located somewhere in the region that shifts from different locations. Once trainers go in, the portal shifts to another and more difficult location to reach. It’s also the same with the X zone it appears randomly across the land. You trainers will get a bit of help from the Oracle of Xega or some of the Xega inhabitants. This will be a bit difficult even for Kyogre and Groudon. Rayquaza has managed to place both to sleep at the same time twice, so do the trainers and the power of the sea basin and continent pokemon have the power to go against the unparallel might of Rayquaza and his chosen minions?
Enemies
Lord Draco: Lord Draco was once a respectable member of the Xega council that often kept the region in peace. He was often a hero since he was able to get rid of several problems that would occur in the region such as poverty or corruption. But one day everything changed, Lord Draco requested to the high leader of Shinato to give him his personal army and announced that he was going to destroy the viruses that inherited the region. Thinking terrorism, the people of Xega supported what he did, but soon found that they made a grave mistake. They discovered that he began to attack several cities and destroy the temples of Groudon and Kyogre. The council decided it was time for him to retire and provoked his title and took his power from him.
As another punishment he was sentenced in exile from his home city Shinato. Over the years they thought he would be dead, but Rayquaza gave him such great power that he was able to live longer so he could carry out Rayquaza’s task. Now stronger than ever, Lord Draco secretly entered a portal to the X zone and ruled over the Black Castle of Eternal Nightmares where he was able to gather followers.
Timothy (or just Tim): Timothy is a general of Lord Draco’s. He is often pleasant and can be a bit of a nuisance since he took everything too lightly. He carries a strange mask that can create a great light to blind his opponents and pokemon making him almost invincible. Nobody know what kind of pokemon he carries around since the great light blinds them and his pokemon attack with swift and unmerciful force. Tim is the first follower Lord Draco was able to find. But he is a bit suspicious to the second follower Miasma, even though he comments on how he likes her.
Miasma: Miasma is another general of Lord Draco and was his second follower. She is more of a serious character and would be a bit harsh at times. She has a nice hot slim body and face and wears a fashionable officer uniform which looks slightly flesh revealing. Her strategy in battle would often be using several strategies that she has come up with. She would often train her pokemon hard and would teach them several strategies that could overcome several enemies. She is partnered with Tim and she has a major dislike for him especially when he starts flirt at her. She also dislikes his calm attitude especially when he calls Draco just plain Draco instead of Lord Draco. She can be easily frustrated with Tim, but at times she could rely on him. Her pokemon are Marowak and Crobat.
Allies:
General Samantha: Samantha is the highest ranking officer in the Xega region and was a former general of Lord Draco in his old army. Samantha isn’t very supportive since she would look at you as a lower leveled trainer. She likes to do things her way and would prefer if people keep out of her way. But when things start going out of hand she would give you a bit more information about the terrain and a few helpful tips that might be of use to you.
Oracle Skyler: Skyler is a mysterious trainer who prefers to stay out of fights rather then get included in them. He won’t be much of help; he doesn’t provide battle support or give you much information on who people are. But he is very well aware with happened, is happening and will happen. He will just often give you answers about your past if you have any questions or tell you what’s going on now. He scarcely reveals what will happen. He randomly pictures your future. So you can’t ask anything like who’s going to be my future wife.
Cities:
Verve- Verve is one of the few cities that have some of the most technological advances for agriculture. It’s filled with several lush green plants and is almost pollutant free. It serves several herbs for healing both pokemon and humans. Verve provides about sixty two percent of the region’s vegetables and fruits. It’s mostly a nice and carefree place where trainers can relax from any trouble. Trainers from outside the region will start here.
Shinato- Shinato is the capital of Xega and the primary area for the knights to begin. It is filled with great architecture and is known to be one of the most populous cities in all of Xega.
Mechtropolis- The city known to have the most advanced technological devices. They contain a wide variety of poke balls, potions and other items such as fire stones. They can upgrade several items such as a poke gear. It is filled with several shopping areas and several factories and offices. Mechtropolis is probably the most polluted city of all the cities, it is filled with layers of smoking clouds, terrible malodorous sewers and barely any pokemon can live there. It can mostly be inhabited by poison types such as Grimer. Sadly the city can also give several tremendous diseases such as lung cancer, there are medicines there that can cure you but they cost a lot and have a low supply. It takes a while to deliver and develop in Mechtropolis, but in Verve you can just drink a hot tea of herbs and you’d probably be cured in a couple of days.
Sengi- is known to have several ancient artifacts that can probably help you on your adventure. It’s not inside the city, but around it are several ruins that contain ancient paintings and markings that tell about ancient life.
Special areas:
Sub Sengi/ Sector 1- This area is known as Sub Sengi/Sector one because it used to be the first part of Sengi. It used to be filled with several various treasures and magic that could’ve helped you. But because of being neglected, most of these powerful items have either been destroyed or lost. You’ll probably have to get your hands dirty and dig everywhere. It started being neglected because Mechtropolis considered Sengi as a low city that needs to get to the present. The people of Sengi were quite contented with out the big city, but Mechtropolis ignored the people and started bringing in advanced technology and towering buildings. The people of Sengi were employed by several businesses and because of this they had to move in and abandon Sub Sengi.
Verve Garden- located in Verve City, this garden is usually for relaxation, where people and pokemon could just sit down and relax. It’s often specialized to rejuvenate the mind and body of both people and pokemon. It’s filled with some of the best rare flowers, glittering grass and sparkling fountains.
Mechtropolis squares 1 and 2- both areas in Mechtropolis. Square 1 looks less gloomy than the rest of the city; it is mostly filled with houses and shops. Here you can buy any item needed to help you on your way such as poke balls or potions. Square 2 is probably the gloomiest area in all of Mechtropolis, it is surrounded by several office buildings, factories and laboratories. You’re not actually permitted to enter factories or offices, but you can at times take tours in labs. As an extra, there are things in the labs that you can find that’ll be very resourceful on your quest.
Waterfall palace- is a beautiful palace located on top of Shinato; it is also the area where the Xega knights would have conversations or training. It is also filled with several libraries, meditation areas and training arenas. It’s also used for announcements for events or important messages such as announcements.
Forest of the Damned- this is the most mysterious and terrifying area in all of Xega. It is filled with dead trees, cold and dead plants and weak soil. This area can be located beyond Shinato, it is also rumored to keep something which several trainers would die to find. It is known to be filled with various dark or ghost type pokemon that can be sinisterly playful or destructively mad. If you walk in the area, you’ll be able to hear a voice of a person who is known to be the very first person to step into the dunes.
Giant’s Lake- a great lake located between Sengi and Mechtropolis. It looks calm and peaceful but it’s inhabited with great gigantic water pokemon. There are also a few small islands in the lake that contain only giant pokemon like Onix or Snorlax. It would take about half a day to get to the other side of the lake. It’ll take longer if you stop or get attacked by some of the pokemon though.
