252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef works well in-game. his chansey doesn't have flawless HP, so using only 212 EVs would be self-defeating. the whole point of it would be to reach the minimum needed for max lefties recovery.

I hunt around for items and try to go to the exit, avoiding Wild/ Trainer battles if I can, to save PP.

desperate milotic, don't double-post.

and warri0r, i like CBCross, personally. adamant, @ choice band, max Atk/Spd, brickbreak/megahorn/rockslide/facade. focus punch/sleep talk are options for the last slot, but not too good in-game. whereas facade, along with guts, makes you love to get poisoned.

as for 'gar, i don't know. i'd say go all special (with thunderbolt/fire and ice punches/psychic or giga drain) or all physical (shadow ball/sludge bomb/explosion/brick break with a choice band), and modest/adamant nature, respectively.

CBcross is better than both of them imo, but if you must use one of those 2, go with the SD version. For Gengar, use Thunderbolt/Ice Punch/Fire Punch/(Explosion, Destiny Bond, Giga Drain, or Hypnosis).
