Battle Frontier Team

Jimmy P.

First shiny!!
Okay, This is the team I am most likely to use for the level 50 battle frontier, and I would like it to be added to/improved/modified before I finalise it.

Salamence@Leftovers
Intimidate
- Dragon Claw
- Flamethrower
- Fly/Aerial Ace
- ???

Aggron@Lax Incense
Rock Head
- Double-Edge
- Iron Tail
- Metal Sound
- Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/???

Raichu@???
Static
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- ???

Salamence is in there because it is one of my favourites. No question.
Aggron is there for physical sweeping, especially with Metal Sound, as it severely cuts the opponents defense. Ice Beam or Thunderbolt are there to get rid of them pesky Ground or Water types.
I saw the Raichu moveset on serebii.net, and thought it seemed pretty decent. Feel free to replace it with another Pokemon, but if you do, please give a moveset to go with it.

Just some things to think about when you rate it:
- I don't care about breeding, natures, IV/EV's, etc.
- Please don't give me moves or items that need to be traded in from other games.
- If you spam, it will be ignored.

Anyways, please rate it! :D

-When you say you don't care about breeding, natures, IV/Ev's, etc., your chances of getting rated (and winning) drop significantly....

I don't know anything about aggron, but subpunching is probably your best bet~

Decent Raichu

He obviously already used Substitute on Raichu, and Petaya Berry is hard to get. His Aggron is good, although he could try getting rid of its special moves for Rock Slide and Earthquake. Dragon Dance would suffice for Salamence over Earthquake.

Trade one over then.

Thief, or something then.

No, it's not.
Dragon Dance would suffice for Salamence over Earthquake.
But then you'd have to waste leftovers or something on it. No one else, save MAYBE aggron, uses choice band well, so slap one on.

You cannot assume he has someone to trade with. Aggron has too many weaknesses to Substitute anyway. He might as well keep Double Edge, or his ability would be pointless. The only good Steel move he learns is Iron Tail... And he already used Focus Punch as well.

Metal sound lowers special defense.

And let me guess. Tail Whip is a one-hit KO move? Notice I replaced BOTH T-Bolt and Metal Sound with EQ and Rock Slide in a previous post.

His Aggron is good, although he could try getting rid of its special moves for Rock Slide and Earthquake.

DDmence says hi.

Salamence @ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Dragon Dance
Aerial Ace
Earthquake
Rock Slide

Aggron@Lax Incense Hax is just lol. Try Choice Band here.
Rock Head
- Double-Edge
- Iron Tail Rock Slide
- Metal Sound Earthquake
- Ice Beam/Thunderbolt/??? Filler move (Brick Break?)

Raichu@??? Filler item (Petaya Berry?)
Static
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- ??? Encore/Thunder Wave/Surf

You might as well learn now not to ever use Serebii movesets. Most of them are bad.
Include natures:

I don't care about natures either. I'm not one of those people who "breed their way to perfection".

Metal sound lowers special defense.
Oh well, its still good.

Most of this advice has been good, and I might use Subpunch on Aggron instead of Raichu.
'Neways, thanks for the help so far. ;)

What I meant was that it was still a good move, and that I'd probably replace Metal Sound and Thunderpunch with Subpunch.
