Battle frontier tournament?

Well, what's going to happen to Ash after he beats the battle pyramid? I doubt the writers are going to let may have a grand festival and not let Ash have any final showdown. Also, It would give us a chance to see the remaining 10 pokemon that he has yet to use. What are your opinions?

I don't know if there will be a BF tournament or not. I hope there will be, though. If not that, Ash may reenter the Indigo League. If he does, hopefully he'll win it.

Many people are assuming they'll be one final opponent after Brandon, like in the Orange Islands.

When Ash beats Brandon, he gets a 7th symbol, not a trophy. You have to ask yourself, what was collecting all 7 symbols for?

It's the same reason they created the Grand Festival for May, otherwise she'd be collecting 5 ribbons for no reason.

Ash will have some sort of challenge after Brandon, although it might not be a league, but one final 6 on 6 battle against some strong opponent.

Now, we do not know for sure. However, it would be extremely stupid, as Cybercubed put it, to face only Brandon and come home with a crappy symbol.

No, Scott WILL NOT be the final opponet, because he has ZERO pokemon, just like the Scott in the Pokemon Emerald Game.

You can't use the game as a guide. In the games, Oak has no Pokémon, yet in the Animé he has a Charmeleon and a Pidgey. Same with Elm and his Corsola. Where were Misty's sisters in the game? Brocks father? There are hardly any police in the game, yet we're told there are many completely identical Jenny's that were unheard of until Yellow. Don't take the game as a rule for what the Animé should be like.

However much of a twist it would be, I couldn't see it working. For one, Scott doesn't look like a trainer. And what Pokémon would he have? And then we'd have to wonder why we've never seen then when him and the gang were in trouble, let alone just randomly.

Richie is a good guess, I mean Ash solved things with Gary. Morrison, Tyson and Harrison have little chances of returning but he still has a thing with Richie. I mean they never resolved their rivalry, in Chronicals Richie is all I haven't seen Ash in forever and stuff. So I wouldn't mind an Ash vs Richie final Battle before Richie leaves forever (if he hasn't already).

I mean all of Ash's rivals and most main characters have resolved their plots by now thanks to the specials, I mean Casey, Sakura ect all got finished up in the specials but Richie he didn't so much.

If Scott is the final opponent then Ash is really a guy who uses pokemon training as a smoke screen while going around and screwing all the girls from the pokemon universe.

I think there's better ways to get your point across than making crude comments like that. And I don't know, Scott could be the final opponent, Anime =/= Game afterall. You guys should know this since the Battle Frontier WASN'T in Hoenn and all nearby each other on an island.

I dont think so. First of all only really good trainers can enter then they have to have the luck of running into and impressing Scott, after that they would have to get all symbols. That seems a little too hard for a tournament to occur. Its not like the regular gym badge quest where there are gyms scattered across the region anyone with pokemon above 10 can enter and all they have to is get 8 badges.

I think there could be a tournament and it goes on like a regular tournament but the winner gets to face Scott.

Maybe beating all 7 Brains is the gateway into having official matches with the Elite 4?

We're 400+ episodes and 9 years into the anime, yet we still don't know how trainers have "official" matches with the Elite 4 members.

Considering Ash had to battle Agatha in the beginning, that could be a clue that we may actually see Ash go against the Elite 4 for once.

Even though we have an Elite 4 in the anime apprently, do we have one for each region like the games or are Drake, Agatha, Lance ect all in the same? Or is Lance not an E4 member, there's too many questions about the E4 to comfirm anything E4 related could happen, but I like the forshadowing with Agatha idea.
