Battle frontier?

it also adds everstone breeding, flame body hatching, and fixes IV inheritance, as well as there being new move tutors and the ability to catch all the weather Ubers in each game. of course, it's your call whether the battle frontier is worth it, but it does tend to add (hundreds of) hours of play time.

you can also catch sudowoodo and smeargle at the bf,thats the only place in emerald,xd,fr + lg you can cath them(save before going after sudowoodo though,as it is a one off)

Emerald itself is better than R/S, IMO. The berry glitch's fixed, everstone and magma body trick, also the battle frontier itself. You can get two of the rare berries by beating the Frontier Brains...There's a lot of thing to experienced, try it yourself...

IMO, Emerald is the first Pokegame with a big challenge; The Battle Frontier. It really tests your skills as a Trainer and "forces" you to bring the best out of your Pokemon. I also like the Pokemon animations...
It IS way better than Ru/Sa.

I think that Pokemon Emerald is the best pokemon game until now, I don't know about Diamond and Pearl but this game is worth getting, if you really are about to get it, do it now.

Ofcourse its worth getting, its not like ruby and sapphire at all, there is the frontier, deoxys, ho-oh and lugia, the three titans, team magma and aqua, scott himself makes the biggest difference in the game by making the frontier.

I think Emerald is worth getting. Just think of the battle frontier as another gym badge adventure.

Definitly get this ! The battle fronteir gives new meaning to the game after you beat the elite four. The animations are sick, and the graphics are a little better.

In the battle frontier, it offers a competitive level of battling that you wouldn't normally see. You can get rare items you could otherwise only get in colo/XD, and you can catch Sudowoodo and Smeargle. Plus, if you need Speed EV training, then the Studio cave is the best way to go.

The Battle Frontier gets boring after about two weeks of it...get Emerald for the plotline. The Magma/Aqua plotline really keeps the gave "in the action" throughout it all (although they never did explain what happened to Steven's position...).

The battle Fronteir is good and bad.

Good, because it's a big challenge trying to get to the Fronteir Brians and get Symbols.

Bad, because it gets boring after a while.
