Battle Mode: Returning to "Stadium's Style"?

Colosseum and XD failed in this category. I miss the good ole days of the Stadium games. Now I can do without the minigames if neccessary, but lets have a decent battle mode, maybe return the GYM LEADER CASTLE, and be able to battle competitive teams that didn't always have 2-6 Legendaries on them. Having a Story mode is nice, but with a title like Pokémon Battle Revolution, here's hoping this game will actually have a great Battle Mode.

why just go play stadium 2 then . they should have both hoeen and shinou gym leader castles i think because bith haven't been done yet

If they have no other single-player battle modes in PBR, I want some super special awesome Gym Leader Castle, with all 4 region gyms, and 1 Elite Four probably. Or if not all 4, just Shinou (Haven't gotten english name in memory yet) and Hoenn.

**** Mini-Games, they were dumb. If they can make a story mode as good as XD (ATLEAST; XD was a large step up from Colloseum but still not handheld Pokemon good) and a battle mode like Pokemon Stadium 2, it'll be the best game ever.

I remember challenge cup from Pokemon Stadium 2 where you get random Pokemon to fight. I loved doing that in free battle mode, or against myself in two player mode.

I want everything that was good in Stadium 2: a Lv. 50-55 Cup, a Lv. 5 Cup (my favorite one in Stadium 2), an Info Center, and Gym Leader Castle (though, I wonder if they can fit all of the leaders from all four regions, and the Elite Four).

Maybe it'll be an entirely new style of console-based Pokemon game and not draw on elements from past games... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Well... IGN confirmed that it's got the announcers this time around... so that's something from the stadium games... hopefully more as well.

Myself, I'd like a Gym Leader Castle with for Every Region, each with it's own Elite 4 and it's own Prize Pokemon.

If they wanted to keep everyone unique, though, they'd have to jumble up Kanto/Johto's Elite 4s, due to the sharing of Bruno. I guess they could slide Blue in Bruno's place, or something...

I would LOVE another Stadium. With the Gym leader castles, mini games, and everything else. Mt. Battle from Colosseum also has some potential to be in battle mode with the Gym leader castle.

I sincerely hope so. The return of different leveled tournaments, difficult teams, a Gym Leader Castle, and rental Pokemon, would all be very welcome.

Yeah I hope instead of a volcano for Mt. Battle you go underwater. But it won't be called Mt. Battle.
