Battle Tower Apprentice?

My first dude (Hiker Dillen) is now my reliable double battle partner.

Now I have a second one, an old fellow. I didn't catch his name but I told him to use Dusclops and some other pokemon that I forgot already..

How many apprentices do you have? ..How many can you have?

I think that you can have infinite apprentices and I have currently 17.

Ah, do they all number themselves? Dillen is all "I'm Willow's No.1 apprentice!"
