This might work. If the Trainer Tower is similar to that of the Stadium games as far as the levels work, and you face level 50 pokemon with your level 5 Horsea, you just embarrassed yourself. Otherwise, I haven't seen this before. Good find!

Why not just keep it on Dratini? Then you get STAB, or does that not work with Dragon Rage?

The battle tower in FR/LG isn't the same as Colleseum/R/S,
the pokemon you come up against are at a no higher level then your highest level pokemon
so yea it could work I guess, but the pokemon you fight agaist seem to be actually smartly trained a bit.

But there is no pokemon that you can come up against at Lv.5 that has more than 40HP? Evolutions may be hard to get past, but in theory this idea is certainly able to work (PS, Vitamins will not have as much of an effect on a lv.5 Dratini in relation to a lv.50 Dratini)

The only problem I can think of is some of the more powerful pokemon, like Blissey and Feraligatr. Surely they would have more than 40HP and be able to knock Horsea out? Would having 6 Lv 5 Horseas with Dragon Rage work?
Well i had 3 lv5 Horseas and one Electrode with sonicboom (20hp) because i didnt realise Dratini could have it as an egg move and yes it works a charmAbsolkid said:

Also theres a problem with speed, so aim for one with max IVs in this and youll be fine, or bucket loads of vits and then jack them up to lv6 maybe, should still OHKO everything but Chansey. And no STAB doesnt work i dont think as its 40hp of damage every time regardless of .. anything else

I recall back in the crystal version I had 3 pokemon that knew dragon rage and they won most their battles and got me lots of vitamins. I've already beaten all rounds in battle tower in leafgreen with my level 100 pokemon.

For Knockout and Double Mode just use a low level Lapras with Perish Song.
Due to the trainer unable to swtich, their Pokemon faint in three turns. Easy.
