Hey!
I love fighting in the battle tower, and it pretty much makes up all my playtime in the games that include it. Despite all my playing, however, I've yet to ever complete a 100-win streak. My first instinct is to say that I simply don't have the luck to go 100 matches without some terrible bad luck streak that ruins a match, but I'm sure the team I'm using can be improved, too.
This is my latest trio...
------------
Starmie *Kook* @ Expert Belt
Ability: Natural Cure
Timid nature
252 SpA, 252 Spd, 6 HP
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
Very rarely does it get simpler than this. Starmie comes in and proceeds to kill off everything it sees. Honestly she likes Life Orb better than Expert Belt, but Scizor needs it more. Speaking of which...
Scizor *Coldplay* @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Adamant nature
252 Atk, 108 HP, 40 SpDef, 8 Spd
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Pawnch
- Brick Break
- X-Scissor
Scizor and Starmie together are a match made in heaven. Almost all of Starmie's fears- ghost, dark, bug and grass attacks- are absorbed handily by this Scizor. Scizor has little trouble taking an extra hit to swords dance, and after that, very little threatens him. The 8 speed EVs are to make up for an imperfect speed IV. The only thing that scares Scizor is fire, and that brings us to...
Snorlax *Kaiser* @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
Adamant nature
252 Attk, 252 SpDef, 6 HP
- Body Slam
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
Snorlax is rarely relied on to sweep (although he most certainly can). He's the closest thing akin to a tank on this team, able to absorb special attacks like a beast. Crunch/Earthquake take care of the electric/ghost/fire types Snorlax often is brought out to deal with. I think a problem is Fire Blast. It's here pretty much for Skarmory and Scizor, but neither one ever really appears in the usual Battle Tower, and on Snorlax the attack is downright pathetic. That said, I haven't got a better idea on what to fill the last slot with here.
Between Snorlax's special defense and Scizor's physical, this trio features balanced defensive capability. Snorlax also rounds out the team with completely original type coverage, meaning that no single type is represented more than once between any of my pokemon's attacks, ensuring the largest possible coverage.

Thanks for taking the time to read about my team and help me out!
