Black Sludge Trick really isn't worth it. It will only do 1/16 of your opponent's health of damage every turn, it's simply not enough to cripple foes. A move like Toxic deals more damage and doesn't waste your item slot. Or Trick something else, like Choice Specs, which really cripples opponents. But Trick isn't as viable anymore as it used to be as you lock yourself in if you use it against a foe with a Z-Crystal or a Mega Stone. And in 3v3 the odds of that are pretty significant. Also, like Ykot said, Pursuit isn't worth it. Switching is pretty rare for the AI, they do it occasionally but it's hard to predict. Go with a move with more utility, like Agility, Zen Headbutt, or Thunder Punch.
