Even if Krokorok was obsessed with Pikachu, it probably found a Pokémon that was worthy of battling against, and wanted to prove that it was stronger than Pikachu, but ultimately failed to accomplished that goal and enjoys being Pikachu's rival. But since Ash caught it, Krokorok now enjoys helping out Pikachu, even though this kind of scenario didn't often happen in future episodes of Black & White.

Battle was ok. Krokorok did look pretty adorable when he was looking for his glasses though. The COTD weren't very enticing or entertaining to me, except when that one kid almost punched the other kid.

Felt bad for Seismitoad and Scolipede after the battle. Ash getting the sunglasses wearing Krokorok surprised me because I thought that he would be satisfied with already owning a ground type aka Palpitoad.
