Bayleef,Quilava or Croconaw?

Hi
I need help choosing one of the three starters in colo.
Last time I played I picked Quilava but never used it. I want to use the starter but I dont know which one. I read you should allways pick Bayleef because you dont get good grass pokes but im not a big fan of rass pokes. Which should I use? I will use Bayleef if it nescessary but if it isnt Quilava or Croconaw?

Quilava isn't very useful.

Croconaw (Sweeper) and Bayleef (Tank/Annoyer) can be very good choices. I chose Bayleef and found that it is VERY good as a support Pokemon. Croconaw is also good when paired with a flying type for EQ.

Does Bayleef learn Sleep/Paralysis inducing moves. If so then it could be good as a snagger? I dont know. I am at the point in the game where I have to choose and I dont know

This thread can be closed as I went for Croconaw because of the tip about teaching it earthquake. Alongside a Noctowl it should be good

Choose Croconaw, Its Surf comes in handy since about 20% of the pokemon you face are weak against it.

I choose Quilava 'cause I like fire types, but Croconaw would have been my second choice. So...choose the Croconaw. It's surf is awesome.

You should have chosen Quilava. I battled with it so much that it evolved into a lvl 40 Typlosian when I purified it. Also in my opinion you chose an ok pokemon compared to bayleed which totally stinks.

I chose Croconaw because not only is it my favorite of the 3, but it is a useful water type that evolves easly and that helps me every time I get him in the game.

i use Quilava...it goes well w/ Espeon

Bayleef is more of a tank character...and has better stats than the others

Croconaw has surf which is useful for attacking 2 at once

Since I like water types, I'd go with Croconaw,but since I already have the other two, I'd pick Bayleef.

I'd say Quilava if you want to get through the game faster. Not to mention, you can breed it to get the cutest Pokemon of all time, Cyndiquil

Take whatever you don't have and play it through three times. Or play colosseum instead, and get all of them. I always used to use quilava, but I most recently took the bayleef and was fairly happy with it. Croconaw is a sweet one too. It's a matter of personal preference, really.

you dont get them all, you have to start a new game for them. i prefer quilava myself cuz he looks cooler than them all.

Quilava. It's like my favorite type of Pokemon, and it can learn awesome attacks. Fire is like my second favorite right after dark. Can't beat fire. ^^ Too cute, too cool, too awesome. ^^ So, any other reasons needed from me as to why Bayleef and Croconaw doen't even come close to comparisson to Quilava? *raises eyebrow*
