Become leader/evoulotion

I have beeten raquaza and my partner explained become leader, but the option aint there. Also, how do I make my partner go away so I can evolve?

After that you go to the menu and click team, then your partner's name it says Standby. Once that's done you are rid of your partner following you( I do miss my partner waking me up each morning )

Yeah and if you want to choose your leader press join team then talk again and press make leader
