Beedrill Q

I know Beedrill isn't the greatest Pokémon, but I added it to my FR team and it's been doing well (just cleared out the S.S. Anne). Do you think it's worth boosting up to the E4 (for Gary's Alakazam if anything), or should I ditch it?

Ditch. Alakazam is way faster than Beedrill, so it doesn't stand a chance.

I'd go with what choas said, there really is no point in a beedrill, even after the elite 4. I'd suggeset another pokemon, like maybe shadowballing one. I beat alakazam with a good drill peck from Zapdos.

Yeah, but if I give it Substitute, wouldn't it stand a better chance? Maybe a 1HKO if I'm lucky. Either that, or I can breed Flareon and evolve it into Jolteon for Twineedle.

EDIT: Meant Pin Missle, not Twineedle.

jolteon's thunderbolt would do more to alakazam then pin missile

also using sub on beedrill won#t make a difference as zam is faster and will just psychic you

Beedrill doesn't have the necessary Spd. or HP ratings to make use of a Sub, so attempting to block status or absorb damage with Sub will fail most of the time (meaning all of the time).
