I have a copy of Emerald that seems to suffer from the berry glitch. I first noticed it the day after the Berry Master came to Lilycove City. I'd filled up my pokeblock case with awesome pokeblocks, so I decided to go out and replenish my berry supply.

But the thing is, every single berry patch was bare. No bushes, no saplings, no little mounds to signify that I'd planted a berry. I planted berries thinking this was just a minor hiccup, but it happened again. What's going on? I thought Emerald was immune to this problem.

It's because (in the game) the clock you know, the one your mom tells you to set at the begining of the game. IT STOPS weird right and you can't reset it (I think!) but you can fix the berry glitch by:getting the jirachi permotion
(over) or trading berrys. And to think you are logged on to Serebii.net's Forums gosh read the stuff!!

That's not the Berry Glitch you're describing. If the Berries you are planting grow quickly, it is possible that they are living out their entire lives and disappearing before you harvest them. If you had the Berry Glitch (which is not in Emerald) your Berries would stay as mounds of dirt and would never sprout and would never disappear. I suggest you either plant Berries that take longer to grow or check on your Berries more often so they don't have a chance to expire before you harvest them.
