Berry/Ocean/Mudslide Glitches?

I have questions about these.

Berry Glitch

Does ever Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald game have this glitch? Does Emerald not have it? I'm so confused...

Ocean Glitch

I saw where it is on another thread, but what is it? What does it do? Is it harmful to your game?

Mudslide Glitch

Okay, I have no idea what this is, so what is it? What does it do? Blah blah blah...

Bery glitch Berys stop growing not in emerald
Ocean Glitch: Put a rubber band on the right arow thing and face a curent.
Mudslide: Get an Ancro bike and pedel up a mudslide good way to hatch eggs

Okay, thank God it's not in Emerald...I grow berries in Emerald.

As for the Berry Glitch...does it mean playing for a full year or you started your game, never played it, and turned it on a year later. Because that would /also/ be 1 year...

No the bery glitch means the Internal Battrie has run dry and you know those curent things by Slateport go there and just surf in to the curent it counts as a step taken so it is good fo hatching eggs
And dose the mudslide thing work in emerald because my players been going up a mud slide for 1 hour and still no egg hatced

The Berry Glitch is not the same as a dead internal battery. The Berry Glitch is a software flaw in the original run of Ruby/Sapphire where time-based events would stop occuring after one year of play time, regardless of the condition of the internal battery. Since it is a software flaw, it can be fixed through the game's link function. The internal battery is in all prints of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and controls the clock at all times, even when the Berry Glitch is preventing time-based events. It is physically inside the cartridge and when it runs dry it cannot be fixed without opening up the cartridge.

So the berry glitch is always in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald? Or is it just for Ruby and Sapphire? But then are all copies of Ruby and Sapphire made with the berry glitch?

Okay, but what about Ruby/Sapphire? Is it in all copies of them, because I pre-ordered mine...but then I went and bought another copy of each later on.

All 3 only occurred in ruby/sapphire as I never experienced the berry glitch since pokemon colloseum and bonus disk seemed to fix all that.

ocean glitch & mudslide trick do not seem to work in emerald as I have tried and that was even without the match calls. My guide as PkmnBreederLuke actually includes a quote from MetalMario regarding the Ocean Glitch so I actually gave him credit. I know both work in ruby/sapphire since I've tried both and have been successful with them.

Now as far as my having my own forum, thanks, but there are also some other helpful members on this site that I do give credit to (particularly Volteon) and they should have equal recognition as well.

I hav'nt gotten far enough to try the Ocean glitch in Emerald...but I did finally find it in my Ruby version. It's sooooooooooo cool! I like running on water...lol
