when you plant a berry and forget to pick the berries do they replant themselves or are they gone forever?

When you plant one and forget to pick it the berry drops of and starts to grow again in the soil

Uhh...the girl at Petal Flower Shop (just outside the Petalburg Forest) at the game itself seems say somewhat like this. Yes, it regrows again and again if you forget to pick it.

yea it just keeps re growing till you end up picking it

It keeps growing if you forgot, and if you wait long enough they will fall back in the soil and grow again, it'll keep going untill you grab one.
