Best Bad Guy Battle

Villain battles aren't commonly known for being as developed or long in the anime, largely for being based around characters who expectedly don't play by the rules (nor make the heroes feel particularly bad about doing likewise), thus DEMs, ambushes, foul play and 'good vs evil' monologuing tend to eclipse clever tactics and attacks. Did we mention MANY of the anime's trademark bad guys are infamously poor battlers?

What hero vs villain battle would you consider almost as good as the official ones however? Like the best example of how to write a proper villain battle in terms of entertainment and substance value?

Not thinking twice!
ash and alain vs lysandre, at least due to atmosphere (and tbh, elimination too)

Life doesn’t end, …it changes.
Alan and Steven Stone vs Mega Groudon and Mega Kyogre

not sure if this counts.
