I made a topic a bit ago about embarassing losses (Kinda popular), and now I want to know about your best matches, not just easy wins, but just... interesting battles.
I borrowed Emerald from my friend again, so this time I tried working on Battle Pyramid, and I had setup a pretty solid team. Muk, Milotic and Rhydon. Those were mostly for Brendan though.
So, for the first time ever, I make it to Silver symbol Brendan battle. And I send out Muk.
See, I saw Explosion coming, so I started with Acid Armour. But his Regirock used Earthquake, and I started to panic. Ok, so another Acid Armour, Earthquake is less of a scare (My real panic here was that he'd get a critical hit), then a final time, and each Earthquake is now doing maybe a little more than a quarter HP damage.
So I use a Hyper Potion, Muk now has almost full HP. Regirock uses yet another Earthquake, but luck! The Brightpowder I have equipped finally makes its due, and it misses. So I started by using one of those useless X Attacks I picked up on the ground. And lo and behold, he misses again! So I use another one. This time, he hits, but I finish off my item use with a Dire Hit and another Hyper Potion. After that Hyper Potion, Regirock uses Explosion, and only takes off about half of Muks HP.
Next is Regice. Thanks to the 2 X Attacks, Brick Break almost OHKOs Regice (Which makes me happy; it was ONLY 2 X Attacks and ONLY Brick Break; it makes me love my Muk XD it wasn't a critical hit). Regice wastes it's only moment alive with Amnesia.
Registeel doesn't last long. I use Brick Break which gets it under half HP, and I can't remember what move it uses, but I use another Brick Break for the win.
I sweeped Brendan with JUST my Muk XD And the Dire Hit I used earlier? With that, I only got ONE critical hit, and that was the second hit on Registeel; the hit that would have killed him anyways.
EDIT: Oh, and off topic (Even off topic on MY own topic), anyone have interesting Battle Tower phrases? I took pictures of mine cause I thought they were funny (I figured pictures would show them funnier than just saying what they were, and I apologize for the bad quality, my GBA screen is dirty and usually I'd just take the pictures on the GB Player, but I was too lazy to take the Gamecube downstairs just for that)
