best conceived pokemon? (not nesscarily needs to be your favourite)

of the all pokemon released thus far, which pokemon do you think is best designed and best concived?

my vote goes toward the Ralts line.

well, when I first saw Ralts (right before RS was being released to Japan) I didn't exactly like it at first, I found it's pudding-bowl haircut kinda dumb-looking.

but when I saw it's evolved forms, I was quite surprized that they were so attractive and feminine-looking... (and I was even more surprized when I saw their gender ratio was 50/50)

but it wasn't until I trained one myself that I saw how awesome and well recieved they were (even replacing the former champion of psychics, Alakazam, who I find ugly and never really liked all that much)

but it probably wasn't until I saw fanart about them that I started to love them as much as I do now. Gardevoir and Kirlia are so pretty and so cute.

Armaldo. Good type combo, awesome stats, good look, nice ability, very good movepool...a real battle Pokemon if you ask me.

Oddish. Everything about it pwns.

I'm reckoning either Slowbro or Heracross. Both have awesome designs that are simple, yet effective, poignant, and undying. Slowbro has his wonderful movepool and his quirky disposition yet fearsome prowess backing him up, and Heracross has his wonderfully lascivious horn. Both were well-planned and concocted to perfection.

Houndoom also gets a mention from me, being based off of a Greek legend but still losing no shred of awesomeness. It was good fortitude to give a Dark type a high Special Attack and also bequeath it with a neglected yet useful secondary type. Kudos to Houndoom as well.

The Ghastly line. I love how it evolves from a blob of gas into a shadow. D:

I love Gengar stats, I love it's look, I love Haunter's look, I love their movepool. (Mega Drain, Gengar!) And uh, I love their color? XP

 

[Infinite Master Sceptile]

Snorlax is one of the most unique Pokemon. It's a sumo cat!
Honorable mention to Scyther, Trapinch, Lunatone, Smeargle, Castform, Wobbuffet, and Kecleon.

Combusken.

Because there's nothing better than a chicken who can roast you alive while kicking the crap out of you.

Well i accually think (no offence) Combusken looks quite ugly and they didnt put as much thought into it as something like Zangoose.

Another pokemon would be cubone A rodent with a skull and a boomerang bone seems really cool in my opinion.

Same here, Ralts line is the best.

When I first played Sapphire I knew NOTHING, when Wally caught Ralts I was like "Heh...Ugly and weak Pokemon." but when I battled Wally's Gardevoir...I quickly caught a Ralts and evolved it and forgot about the Elite Four

Lugia. It's got a simple design, yet manages to still look cool. I like the idea of a dragon/bird/sea creature/whatever it's based on having a unique attack that simply PWNS!!
Mew rocks as well. Cute, yet powerful, and can learn any attack. Again, a simple design.
Woo! Go Lugia and Mew!

Charizard The only proper dragon (no dragonite doesnt count hes impossible to get and looks crap as do all the other dragons)

Mudkip is the best and cutest pokemon ever(my opinion don't critise) But i also like the Ralts line. Whenever I start a new game on Pokemon Ruby I stay in route 102 for ages trying to find one. I also like Shedinja. Its ghost type and Wonder Guard make it almost unbeatable. And Eevee. I always find it satisfying watching my eevee evolve into the one I need the most. And Corphish is way better than Krabby I think but I knew from when I saw Krabby that they would definatly make a lobster to go with the crab and Salamence and Flygon have quite good movesets although I think that Salamence should learn Dragon Claw a bit earlier. etc.

etheir grumpig or altaria. Grumpig is just cute added by a good move pool and a huge sp.def., although altaria is just overall atractive and has the power of a dragon.

Blaziken. I mean basing a Pokemon on a chicken shows they haven't ran out of good Pokemon ideas even after wierd ones like Dunsparce. It's awesome how it's a fighting rooster too. I tried to use the other word for male chicken, but it turned it in to a bunch of asterisks.

For me, it was discovery of the Dark Type Pokemon, spefically Absol, Migthyena and Sneasel.

Then again, I fell in love with Absol the very first time I saw it. XD

Why? Coz' its cool, big but still swift and sleek, can use a great variety of attack and I just love its desgin.

Absolutely awesome and innovative design, although hes part of the 1st gen. Versatile and useful ingame. My all-time favourite pokemon ^^
