Best Eeveelution

I need help deciding which Eeveelution is the best in XD. I want either Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon because they have good abilities and evolve immediately. And I also already have Espeon and Umbreon in Colo, so I need help choosing which of those three is the best!

To tell you the truth, Espeon is the best choice. When you get the Sun Shard, it doesn't really take that long to evolve (It took me 2 levels :)). Umbreon is a good choice too, and it really doesn't matter if you have 'em in Collo, you can't trade before you beat the Grand Master.

1st choice: Espeon- Great Psychic type, not many in XD
2nd choice: Umbreon- Not too good Dark type but great as a tank.
3rd choice: Jolteon- An OK Elec. type, and an OK Eeveelution
4th choice: Vaporeon- A good tank, and average stats.
5th choice: Flareon- Useless in XD, Hondour is a MUCH better choice; a great Dark and Fire type. Also has a skull necklace :D.

If you don´t want to use Espeon then use Jolteon.

It's what ever you like. I would choose the one you like the most. Out of those three, I like Jolteon the best, btw.

i agree with Psychic Politoed, choose the one you like the best. Out of the kanto three i would choose Flareon, cos i like it and i don't like houndour

i took jolteon. it was really a hard choice because i got all three elemental stones throughout the game.

The only thing is if you do pick Vaporeon, then you would have to settle with either Water Pulse or Hydro Pump, or you can just hold on to it and not use it until you are able to trade it to the GBA games. I wouldn't like to just have an Eeveelution that likes you a lot to just be traded like that.

Edit: I perfer that Pokemon not get too attached with me before a trade them. Why couldn't they have HMs in the GCN games?

Jolteon, is pretty decent. Good Speed + good with the Special Attack = Quick Thunderbolt kill.

I chose Flareon in XD mostly because it was the only eeveelution I didn't have and I like to have fire-type starters, but I would also try to pick by the Eevee's nature. For example, if the Eevee has a nature that slows speed growth, try not to evolve it into Vaporeon, Flareon, or Umbreon unless you really want them because they'll most likely be slower than a rock. It happened to me with my "brave" colo Umbreon.
P.S.- My Flareon turned out to be my strongest pokemon in XD

flareon is da best. <3

Vaporeon: 130 in hp (O_O talk about endurance)
Flareon: 130 in attack (pwnage. double edge >:D)
Jolteon: 130 in speed (bleh)
Espeon: 130 in Spc. Attack (pwnage too, but gardevoir > espeon ^^)
Umbreon: 130 in spc. defense (great tank)

As ypu played the whole Colosseum game with Espeon and Umbreon, I think Kanto eeveelutions is better to play XD.
My favorite is Jolteon because: - It learns Thunder wave which is a great move to snag shadow pokemon
- I's an electric type
- It looks cool
Flareon is useles because of great special sweeper: Houndoom unless you really love Flareon.

Vaporeon is a good tank but unfortunately in XD there isn't any surf HM.

After all I think Stats or types aren't so important. This is a game not a competitive thing. Therefore, the best eeveelution is the most you like.

I picked Jolteon for Thunder Wave, and it was pretty useful.
Vaporeon gets my vote next. Great HP and absorbs stuff and even counters suicune (err...not really)
Espeon comes next, but I prefer gardy to "sing" the opponents to sleep
Umbreon sucks ingame
Flareon isn't that great

But all the choice is up to you. These are just my personal opinions

I don´t have XD yet, but I will evolve my eevee into.... I think that you already know the answer...

I like jolteon because it´s fast and it get an awesome s.attack too.
vaporeon and espeon are tied in my second option, vaporeon can resist one thunderbolt due to high HP and it can hit a good bublebeam in the opponent lowering speed.
espeon with bite and baton pass =!
umbreon is good too, and it´s in the 4th option because it is a (good) tank, not so great (I think, in game at least), it can be replaced with other pokemon.
but flareon... I´d just evolve eevee into it just to have one number more in the P.déx. it´s the worst last evolved fire pokémon among them all! IMO obvious. I also don´t like fire pokémon.


also jolteon super effectives all the legendary birds and lugia (except zapdos)

Hi! Well... I chose Vaporeon Because i love Water type Pokemon AND when a water attack goes on against him, it'll increase HP instead of decreasing HP AND He levels up easily. mines already aT 36 while all my other Pokemon are in the 20s! Good luck choosing!

Well...My two favorites are Vaporeon and Espeon, I chose Vaporeon in XD but...

Vaporeon: Great HP, will last long in a battle
Flareon: Attack, but you have to be a bit careful when using Flareon
Jolteon: Speed...This is my least favorite in the Eeveelutions, not good at much
Espeon: Pretty much useless in XD when you have Gardevoir, but great at Special Attack
Umbreon: Attacking moves are a big no no on Umbreon, defense is Umbreon's thing.

My favourite eeveelution is Espeon but I've already got a high leveled Espeon in my Emerald so I'm going with Jolteon, because

Vaporeon is good but there are many better water pokemon like milotic
Flareon is the least useful of all the eeveelutions (in my opinion)
Umbreon is very defensive but its offensive side is horrible (I prefer offence to defense)
Jolteon is very good at speed and quite good at special attack and it has only one weakness, ground. (so I've decided to choose it)
