Lol that's funny because Sceptile is one of the best in the game. Leaf Blade is a great move...

If you can trade, you can use Venusaur or something, but in all honesty, I say stick with Sceppy. If you don't mind breeding and stuff you can make him a monster.

Care to Battle?
Or if it's a tank your after, go with Meganium.

Meganium
-------------
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Razor Leaf
Synthesis (or Giga Drain)

You can trade at any time to get Meganium on Ruby or Sapphire. For Emerald though, you'll need to have to defeated the E4 before you can trade for a Pokémon that isn't available without trading. To do it without trading though you can collect the 200 Pokémon found in R/S/E. Jirachi and Deoxys aren't needed.

Sceptile's a great Grass pokemon, I think it's much better than Venusaur (thought that's my opinion). Leaf Blade is a good move, and Sceptile can learn other cool moves too.

Back I guess??
Sceptile>Meganium>any other grass>Venusaur.

That´s what I think, if you don´t like sceptile, so use meganium (as tank) if you don´t like tanks, so use, I don´t know, Vileplume?

There was a topic just like this for some time ago.
Celebi is the best grass pokemon and then Sceptile.

7 weakness (one 4x)... any team with 6 pokémon and at least two double typed will super effective it. 2 attacks is enough for it.

Stick with Sceptile. It is probably the best you can get for in-game. Leaf Blade, high Speed and high Special Attack make it a good sweeper and easy to use.

What if Celebi attacks first? Celebi's speed stat isn't that bad.

Sceptile by far. It can learn Dragonbreath and Crunch by breeding, and can learn T-punch by move tutor, so it can kick flying type butt. (This should really be a poll)

celebi > sceptile/venusaur > exxugutor/ludicolo > everything else

leech healer celebi is the best even with its almighty 7 weaknesses but really use standard celebi and unless you have choice band salamence or a DD'd sweeper its good

or even if you just use it to heal bell considering everyother heal beller has the crappiest stats

I would recommend a few:
Sceptile - great with Leaf Blade. He won me the league, he did. (Ignores the fact that my Sceptile is female)
Cacturne - just by borrowing one at the Battle Factory I can tell you it's a good choice (the one I borrowed had Needle Arm, Acid, Faint Attack and Mega Punch. Pathetic moveset really but it swept :))
Ludicolo - used this on Sapphire and it's great what with the double typing with water and all. It is a great special sweeper if used properly.

Wow?! How does it learn Dragonbreath? Breeding with who? I'm not a good breeder so I don't know these things.

Depends on what you need it for. Exeggutor's THE Grass-type sweeper (Sunnybeam+HP:Fire+Synthesis), Meganium's a fantastic tank, provided you get Leech Seed, Cacturne if anyone on your team has Sandstorm/Sand Stream, or Sceptile if you're confined to the Hoenn Dex and need a sweeper.

There's far too many choices for this to be a poll. There are 19 fully evolved Grass-types but poll choices are limited to 10, IIRC.
