what are the best hold items, not like macho brace, lucky egg those things but for battle, like berries, charcoal/miracle seed/sea insence that family, bright powder, for battle in general.

Can't get much better than Leftovers, Choice Bands (if it works well in the situation), Liechi berries (if you got 'em), Salac and Petaya berries.
